Remarks
This college is opted through MH-CET exam. I got 137 marks out of 200 in my exam year 2018 and I had options for EnTC, Electrical, Civil and IT branches. Couldn't get CS or Mechanical branch as cutoff was high. But nowadays they are considering percentile so get at least >=90 percentile for this college and >=95 percentile for CS or Mechanical branch. This is highly opted college. Admission procedure is simple just get good CET score and apply for the admission rounds for the colleges you want. Reservation is available for SC/SC/OBC/Other categories and for SC/ST scholarship is available and fees is free. Admission process is quite simple no improvements required.
Course Curriculum Overview
As we move beyond the admission procedures, we realize that this college needs a lot of improvements in every area be it the curriculum, faculty, facilities, infrastructure, and most importantly campus life. Curriculum of my branch was mediocre. No latest technologies included only those old age technologies and no deep level understanding they expect from you. In exams, you just need to mug up everything and you're ready to get above 8.5 Cgpa overall in your graduation. This is an un-biased review about the college from my side. I am just honest. Faculty is okeyish (for my department) for other departments also it's fine but don't expect extra ordinary things from them.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are available in the final year. College is very helpful in terms of internships. Students who pursue internships are allowed to not attend the college and just give the exams. In terms of internship the college is great.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are good. In the final year itself companies come here for placements. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Dassault Systemes, Capgemini, Cognizant, Mahindra etc hire you on the campus. But you need to pe prepared and skilled enough to get placed in them. College won't teach you the skills, you need to learn those themselves to be job ready. Average placement rate (overall for all departments) is about 65%. And average salary is about 3.6 lakhs per annum. Even if you don't get placement on campus, the college is reputed enough which will help you off campus. Just get a good CGPA and good skill-set.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is about 85,000 Rs. for general category, 45,000 Rs. for OBC(NCL)/SBC and free plus scholarship benefits for SC/ST. I don't have idea about VJ/NT. Campus jobs ar ok. Neither too good nor too bad. Avg salary is about 3,60,000 Rs.
Campus Life
Campus life is ok compared to other private colleges in Maharashtra. No good infrastructure. Old buildings of college and hostel, no modern amenities. But many annual and tech fests are available in college thanks to the students initiatives. Fests like baja, sports week, cultural programs etc are conducted (informally) and tech fests for drones, DIY cars (petrol engine) are conducted by the respective clubs. Roboccon club is also available for robot enthusiasts. Overall for technical and non-technical clubs this college is excellent. Classrooms are mediocre. They give you that old age college feel. Library was ok at my time but now it has greatly improved thanks to our new principal sir. There is a canteen which is hygenic and provides good enough meals at budget prices. But overall campus life comes out to be ok. If you're interested in joining various clubs then you will enjoy otherwise if you just feel like wandering in college then you will get bored because there's nothing special
Hostel Facilities
College embedded hostel is fine. It has been renewed just last year. 3 boys in 1 room, common bathroom and girls hostel is excellent. Girls hostel building is new and every girl will get hostel no problem in getting hostel seats plenty available for them. But for boys hostel you need to be in the hostel merit list to get the hostel. Wifi is available in rooms (you will get limited data daily eg. 1gb daily), cots are very good for sleeping, but mosquito nets aren't available on the windows so you need to care about that because outside the window there are empty grasslands where nothing is built so mosquitoes are there in plenty. But overall good hostel. But the mess in hostel whoch is run by the students themselves (cooperative mess) is very bad. Personally, I didn't like it. But breakfast is good (you need to pay extra for breakfast). But if you cannot afford outside shared rooms or PGs, then this is an excellent choice. Only Rs.1650 per year which is quite affordable.
