You need to score above 80% to be eligible for admission in Hons subject in class xii. You can visit the college website or can personally collect the application form. The admission dates vary and so as the process as per your subject criteria. If you are from a Christian background(SC/ST) you will have fees benefits. The college offers good facilities and educational opportunities, programs to overall develop your personality. They must introduce internship programs for their students

I always had an interest in landscapes and geological aspects. The faculty was good. We had a total of 3 faculties in our department and a separate lab for practicals. The college had criteria to select faculty. Every professor must have the below qualifications b.ed plus master's or b.ed plus Ph.D. The college had internal exams twice a year and the university had 1 yearly exam to upgrade the students.

Salesian overall is quite expensive compared to other colleges in Siliguri. The fee system can be divided into 3 phases Quarterly, Monthly, or yearly The fee was roughly 50,000 a year There is no scholarship offered or financial assistance offered if you are a non-christian student

Campus Life

The salesian college offers Mega annual intercollege (Insvaganza)fest during the autumn term. It offers food, cultural programs, intercollege competitions, and many more of that. Salesian has a vast library which consists of a diverse section of books to support all the departments. It has an NGO and other clubs to help you grow in extracurricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

Review of the college where i spend three long years and gathered every knowledge that is available there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I used to read so many novels from my childhood and that inspired me in getting attracted to this field. We used to have the fecility of having seminar in the end of every month after compleating of each lessons. And this process helped us in true education. After every year professors from differnt parts of the country used to come for a seminer for overall groth of the students. Actually is theory teaching style is followed in the college, according to me some developments in the practical teaching can be used. Semister is held at the end of every six months and the exams are used to be moderate in nature.
