Remarks
After writing TS EAMCET in August, I eagerly waited for the results. Almost one month after the exam, the government released the results. I got a good rank, which got me into MGIT. The admission process is so time-consuming.. Counselling took more than 2 months. But it is okay that more than 1 lakh people write eamcet, so it is tolerable.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is Computer science and engineering. This is the only branch everyone looks after in BTech. And this is the only reason I choose computer science and engineering. I have to know idea about the student-faculty ratio but I can tell you that our college has a very good teaching staff. The teaching methods are different and everyone enjoys sitting in a classroom. Teachers are not strict but if they caught you you may be on the bad side of the game. We have balanced theory and practical subjects.
Placement Experience
Many companies visit as part of an on-campus drive to our college. Our college has an extraordinary placement cell which is very active throughout the year helping students by conducting different workshops. Last year's highest package was around 16 LPA CTC. The average package is 4.36 LPA CTC. Companies like TCS, Wipro, cognizant, Infosys, client visit our college every year. Arcesieum is the company that is the company with the highest package in our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not aware of the fee hike policy. But fees are not increased as they wish. Government has certain rules that every institute has to follow and that our college also follows them. Our college has relatively less fees compared to the other colleges. The government provides scholarships for students belonging to reserved categories am just first year so I cannot say anything about jobs given on my campus with a stipend. But our college provides internships to outstanding students in the curriculum who have good skills
Campus Life
The library is there in the b block on our campus. More than 10 thousand books are there in our college library. Students can borrow books for a maximum of 14 days is two weeks after which he/she may be fined. To avail of this facility in college, he or she must have his / her college I'd card, without which he/ she cannot do so. We can also sit in Library and study. Outside books are not allowed into Library. Some branches also have their own small libraries for reference. The annual fest is called Nirvana and is the best part of everyone's college life. It is usually conducted in the month of March every year.
