Remarks

You can take admitted to chitkara University by giving the exam of jee mains. You can also get admission easily on the basis of your 10th and 12th class performance. You must score atleast 75% marks in your board exams to be eligible to get admission to the chitkara university. You can get the application form online. There are no reservation.No improvement is required in the admission process.

I am interested in computers so I chose this stream. Due to increase in the modern advancement, technology becoe an inseparable part of our life so I chose this stream. There is a great ratio between the teachers and the students. All the teachers have done Ph.D. in their fields, also teachers from all over India teach here.

Various companies like google, amazon, Wipro, Microsoft, etc companies visited the university every year to provide internships to the students and some of them get the placements in their starting years. Various projects like web development, data structure, data-analyze, etc are used.

The placement procedure in the university is nice. There is a special cell for the students called the placement cell. Various companies like google, amazon, Wipro, etc. visited the university every year. The average package of a student is 600000. The percentage of the students to get the placement is 90%.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of chitkara university is also good. The admission course of Chitkara University costs 82000 including 10000 extra for the child charges. Various Scholarship programs are run inside the university to increase the interest of students in the practical learning.

Campus Life

Chitkara University organizes a lot of cultural fest including cultural fest (held in October), DJ Nights (Only for the hostel students). The University also has a large library having a lot of knowledgeful books. The classrooms are fully furnished including a fully wi-fi campus and projectors. A lot of sports events are also held in universities to increase the interest of students in sports. There are various clubs at the university.

Placements of this college is better than many tier 2 NITs . Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. If we talk about the top companies visiting PEC, these are Apple, Google, Microsoft, American Express, McKinsey, JP Morgan etc.

Placement Experience:

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

Amazing

Placement Experience:

For 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements 60% of students are placed. I am placed in college duniya . In my college the highest package is 50 lakhs and average is 10 lakh. After degree i am planning to join corporate and get experinece in company.

PEC from a student's lens

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are overall decent. Some students usually the top 10 percenrt students get high packages north of 15 lakhs and some even get 35-70 lakhs. but this number is very small and most students get around 4-10 lpa. around 60 to 70 percent students get placed combining on and off campus placements.

Ground Reality

Course Curriculum Overview:

The whole curriculum focuses on the cramming power, not on the practical knowledge. Students have to do the tech stack on their own for the placements. Students must do the internship so that he/she will gain some practical knowledge and a chance to gain hands-on experience.

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Overall im loving this college

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

i chose this college over other colleges becuase of its reputation , in recent years Chitkara has made its name whether we talk about placements or any other various field, it has a brand value as a private college its a quite good college,this is slightly a new college that is why boards were the criteria to get admission and other colleges i applied to took admission o the basis of JEE mains and i had not scored that good in it that is why did'nt able to clear the cutoff for my required branch, i applied t o Thapar Institute Of Technology, Patiala , Chandigarh University,Punjab, Amity University, Punjab Chandigarh College of Architecture.. i got confirmation from everywhere but just in Thapar i did not get Computer Science, The elegibility criteria in Chitkara is min aggregrate of 60% in jee mains and 70% in boards then there are several cutoffs on which the branches are given to students...Read More

I choose this college because it have a good placement ratio and packages. Here placements cell heads are helpful and teaches us about how to grab good placement. No, i didn't get a rejection from other colleges but i choose this because transportation is easy in this as compared to other colleges.
