Entrance Preview

Entrance exam, Msc. Computer Science, One of the best college in heart of the city Pune. Engineering.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Persistent, Max Secure, Infomat, Syntel, Qspiders, Seacomand many more were there.Stipend ranged from 2000 Rs to 10,000 Rs.

Placement Experience

Out of 60 students around 55 were placed in the placement. The opportunities were many more. Got Opportunity to see all the big companies and attend their interviews.

College Events

We had Many events though out the year. It includes Freshers party, Traditional Days, Inter college Skit competition, Inter college Sports event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible and we can make payments every 6 months for the new semester. For Some Students College had made provision for some installments.

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually I had not availed about any loan facility. College does provides some Scholarship facility for the exceptional students.

Campus Life

Campus Life is Fun with so many new things to learn and Do. We have yearly Dance and cultural program Competition. Different sports event including volleyball, Football, tennis etc.

Exam Structure

Each Semester had 80-20 pattern. Internal 20 Marks. Labs were of 100 marks 3 course 2 project. All exams were conducted bu university of Pune.

Faculty

Faculty included some of the best teachers. Which include Experts in subject. Good explanation with lot of practicals. All in all very good Teacher student relation and a great help always.

From which semester students become maximum students are placement.company name I don't know I no experience , highest package is 15LPA and average is 5 to 6LPA , then percentage of placements students is 50% to 60%percentage students are playes.

The best place to get admission

Placement Experience:

Students who completed their masters are eligible for placements. Companies include Pharma, Biotech, R&d, agri companies, food industries, we can apply there. Well from 3rd semester students can apply and visit different companies previously, haidrabad, banglore are visited by our seniors. Students get salary of 30000-40000 ,there are students selected for multiple high rated companies. 30-40% Students get placed. I want to pursue Phd from India as I am more focus in research.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 3rd semester. I am going to start the process now from june. The companies such as springCT, Josh, Omniscient, Bluepineapple,etc. come for campus placements. Some companies make offers in lot or some lpick only 2/3. Almost all students get internships. In 4th semester we have to do internship compulsory. Average package is 7lpa if its a job offer if its an internship the it is lesser.

A campus life you must live once in your life - Fergusson College

Placement Experience:

Placements in Fergusson are pretty good. Students are eligible for sitting in the placement drives from the 3rd semester, we also get Pre-placment activities and tests before the drive starts. We get companies like Axtria, Vois , bluepineapple etc on campus. The highest package is 10 - 12 lakhs and 4-6 lakhs on an average. In my batch out of the 30 people we 20 are placed so far on campus.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the GIPE are decent. This year the highest package offered was 18 lakhs per annum by Deloitte and IDFC FIRST Bank. Although the placements are not 100% but it's around 60%. Students need to work hard and score well in aptitude test and they should start the preparation from the second semester onwards so that they can easily manage their end semester exams as well as the aptitude test. The average placement package is around 8-9 lakhs. My plan is to get a corporate job and gain some experience and exposure in the corporate world and learn how the things actually work. Many companies that come to the college are looking for data analytics role. The ratio of the companies looking for consultant, risk analyst is less based on market demand and other circumstances.

By the end of sem3 itself, the postgraduates are deployed into interviews for certain internships. But if you are with good academic scores and knowledge you can even get directly placed. Every individual is given 3 chances by the college to get and crack the interview but if the student is not able to then he is guided to where to apply but mostly ICRI makes sure everyone is placed as the college proudly stays with its 100% placement tag line. As I told here there are varied background people here with different needs of roles, the highest package I have seen getting is 15L pa to the lowest of 3L pa which even depends upon the company to your broad spectrum of knowledge. To specify which companies come here for recruitment are sun pharma, Cipla, and many more there are all 20+ companies that come and hire the intellectuals. To specify about me I am planning to get a CRC post as a start for CRA in the future.

PG not given any campus you will get a job on your ability. We have to prepare for set net after MSc but there are some companies visited college like Wipro. They provide job but the salary is around 25000 per month.
