Nasik's best engineering college

Admission to engineering course was based on Standard XII marks and mainly Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The admission process was Centralized process for all colleges under Pune University.

It was a 4 year full time course with subjects from Computer Science. First year subjects are common for all Engineering Streams with focused subjects from second year. Electives in the final year included Unix, Artificial Intelligence.

Our course did not have any internship as part of the course - however we did have project work to be done in the industry in year 4. Local software companies in Nasik did support here, however only a few people managed to get easy support due to limited opportunities.

Placement opportunities were mixed - not too many within the college but college did assist in Open House interviews etc. where people got placed. Nearly the whole batch was placed within 4 months of the course.

The college has different events - technical, cultural, sports etc. It hosts project inter college project competitions, paper presentations, lectures etc. Similarly strong cultural event which is nicely done. Good attention and participation in Sports.

The fee structure is was ok and same as most other colleges in the university. The actual figures would look low if compared with the fee structure of today.

Most leading banks offer loan for admission in form of student loan. State and National scholarships provided by government were also available here.

Campus life in the college is good and balanced. Multiple activities and events related to Sports, cultural events, technical quiz, contests etc. The college also hosts many intercollege events and contests where people from across the state participate.

The college has a very good hostel and a good mess facility too. The hotel charges were also very decent for the facilities. The college has both gents and ladies hostel facility.

The college does not have very high alumni interaction. There are events once in a while where alumni are invited but this is limited. Interaction is more so with seniors and juniors who are in the college during the same time period.

The college has extremely good faculty who have good knowledge of their respective subjects. The faculty is a mix of experience and new people - all sincere towards their assignments.
