Remarks

The college management is a bit laid back and slow in doing their work. Sometimes they seem unprofessional as well.

Entrance Preview

I was interested in this course since i wanted to get into the IT field and I thought taking this course would help me get a good knowledge on the subjects that interested me.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum isn't very up to date but the faculty is really experienced and they see to it that the students understand what is being taught.

Internships Opportunities

Internship wasn't available for students from the third year.

Placement Experience

Companies like Infosys, Wipro and TCS had come to the college for campus placements. Almost 80% of the students were placed in good companies with a good pay package.

College Events

Along with the IT fest which the students and faculty of the IT department organize, we also have the inter college festival Nazrana. It is a 5 day festival with a range of many different activities and events encouraging students from different fields to participate in it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The hostel is very good. It is kept clean at all times. The mess food is average.I would rate the hostel 8/10 and the mess food is 5/10.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers a scholarship to children with a good percentage but low family background. There is no other scholarship that I personally know of.

Campus Life

The campus life is pretty interesting there is always some or the other activity being held in the college. Sports facilities in our college are top notch. Students from our college are part of the state and national teams for hockey and basketball.

Alumni/Alumna

The college seniors are really helpful. They try to share their knowledge with all the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals

The curriculum is very good it's in dept and covers every aspect of my field plus they keep adding new treading topics in my syllabus like recently we have a whole subject dedicated to gut microbes nutrition so it's in detail and very nice Exam timing is good unit happens every month and one final exam we get 1 hr for 20 mark unit test and 3hours for 60 mark final test the difficulty level is moderate

This college is referred by my cousin's brother because he also studies in this college he told me the various benefits that's why I choose to attend this college. This college is very good teaching staff also very good in the college have gymkhana various sports opportunities.
