Yeah it was easy and less time to get admission. I took jee mains to get admission in NIT JAMSHEDPUR after wrote the jee mains exams I waited for results then I choosen college options to get seat in NIT jamshedpur

Coming to course. Why I choose this course in my in NIT jamshedpur there is high demand for this course in NIT Jamshedpur in Jamshedpur Jharkhand there is a steel plant so I choose this branch facility are good even faculty too 3 times term exams

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 72000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships tata steel this is the core company job for providing internships for 4 months giving with stipend 18000 per month. After successful completion of internships then we enter into our role of company projects we have to do at least one project about our core subjects

Placement Experience

Main part which semesters students are eligible for campus placement is after 5th semester there are some companies come to give internships after 6th semesters most of the companies will come and hire students. Placement percentage 60%

Fees and Financial Aid

Coming to fees structure there is less fee they have charged from us compared to other colleges we paid less amount to them other colleges charges 2 lakhs, 3 lakhs but in NIT jamshedpur they charged less and provides fee remission and scholarships tooo

Campus Life

Campus is excellent awesome main role in NIT jamshedpur is campus only. Once get admission into NIT JAMSHEDPUR then you won't leave the campus. They will provide books library is there we can go to library to read and study purpose

Hostel Facilities

Facilities are available in room fan, light, laptop, charging point and projector these facilities are available for use coming to meal Good Morning tiffin after lunch evening snacks night dinner they will provide us 4 times in a day

Overall Review of NIT Jamshedpur

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
