Course Curriculum Overview

I am too much fascinated with electrical networks since my school time. In each class, there are approximately 60 students are there in each class. Maximum all the teachers who ate taking our classes are well qualified and experienced.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience

In diploma placement generally starts from 5th semester and a good number of companies visit every year. Some good offers are also made in diploma but generally companies which are visiting are mass recruiters

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees per year are 75000 and if you pay the fees semester wise then you have to pay an extra 3000 per year and each year there will be a hike of 3000. There are various scholarships provided in the college whose info will be sent to you by the college.

Campus Life

Annual fest and annual tech fest are conducted each year and a maximum participation from each candidate is expected. Each department has a separate library in their respective building and a central library is also there which handles all the library related issues. Library consists of a large number of books and journals

Our study is important but the most important thing is the placement, which makes your career better. Our college has campus placement and many companies visit and hire our students. In many branches, not all the students get the placement but the students who are toppers and who are good in their study get the placement. I also dream to get a placement so that I can get a job quickly after my diploma. For that, I am really working hard and improving my skills, knowledge, and my scores. Tata Motors, Layam Group, Myntra, Bajaj, and other companies come to our college for the placement. In the final year of our course, this opportunity comes to us and we are very much awaited for that.

Best engineering college for BTech and polytechnic. Architecture department are also in our college. Labs, laboratories, libraries. Buses with camera. Girl hostels.

Placement Experience:

In the last semester, our senior get a job in many respected companies. About 70 to 80% of students placed in every year. About 40 students placed in Mechanical in core companies in this. Covid time by virtual placement drive. And minimum package for diploma student is 2.5 LPA to 5lpa.

BEST GOVT. POLYTECHNIC IN UP

Remarks:

Positives Beautiful Campus : This might seem irrelevant to some, but the natural beauty is what comes to your rescue when you feel you have hit rock-bottom. Single Rooms : People have different opinions about this, but I have come to respect this particular facility at our campus. Location of campus (away from city) : This is a very subjective issue, but I think that the location of campus (distance from city) leaves us lesser distractions. Negatives :- Weak Alumni Base : Although it is definitely possible to achieve any goal in life without assistance from alumni, but their experience can definitely make the journey simpler for many. However, lately, many alumni of IIT Guwahati are connecting back with the student community and I am grateful to them for taking out their time for interacting with us. Single Rooms : Yes, I covered this in positives as well, but I think I must point out the cons of this facility. Students, especially in the first year, might feel lonely and find it hard to interact with others. A shared room provides you with one or more readily accessible friends whose privacy you can breach without asking, from day one. Mess : However the Mess System is undergoing a lot of changes, this is one aspect that has a lot of scope for improvement.

First you have to give an entrance test conducted by the college (test not required if you have clear the jee mains but not eligible for any nit) if you pass the test for the stream you choose than you will be eligible for admission and just have to pay some amount to reserve your seat. I applied for Rajiv Academy For Technology And Management but didn't join because when I compared, the placement of GLA was too good. So, I chose it. Eligibility criteria: passed 10+12 with a minimum of 50% score in any stream no age limit The admission process is so simple here: just go to the main office, take the registration form, fill it. if you are eligible, you will be asked for GLAET ( GLA Entrance Test). It is an online test, conducted in a lab in GLA itself and consists of MCQs based on your recent study (till 12th) and the level of questions is normal. if you performed well in GLAET you will be able to attend this course. just submit fees ( yearly or half-yearly) The first day of mine was a counseling day... professors came and assisted us for our bright future...and gave guidance.
