Remarks

The admission process was straightforward. First, we need to buy the registration form which costs around 1.2k INR. After filling out the form and submitting it. I got called upon and was asked to give the entrance exam SUAT. It consisted of 5 sections Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English and aptitude. On basis of SUAT, I got admission. For BTech CSE courses the eligibility is 60% in the 12th BOARD in the science stream.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite good as it consists of all the basics and advanced topics. Faculty members are pretty good too. The majority of the faculty members are very helpful and cooperative. There are doctorate faculty members but mostly are pursuing their PhD. The examination pattern is not complex at all, every semester has one midterm exam and one end term exam.

Internships Opportunities

As for internships, Sharda do bring various companies for internships such as Rapipay, Naggaro, Zappay, Walmart, Josh and many more. Most of these companies offered the roles of software engineer interns with some companies offering stipends as high as 36LPA and one or two offering an unpaid internships with PPOs.

Placement Experience

Placements are ok here ae it is a private university. Placement records do tell us that there is an average of 90% placements every year. Just the thing is the average package is just INR 3. 5LPA. Sharda does have a strong placement record of 90% so most probably students will get placed. If not usually they opt for higher studies abroad. Same case with me. I'll totally be looking for higher studies abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

As is a private university fee is a little bit on the higher side. For BTech CSE specialization in Cyber Security and Forensics, the fees without any scholarships are around 215000 per year. University also provides scholarships for students with good academic scores.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus's life is extraordinary. So many people from different countries, ethnicity and cultures. This gives a huge amount of exposure to social life. Apart from that campus is full of cafes and restaurants. Here we also do have an annual fest called CHORUS. It's a three days fest with celebrity entries. Furthermore, there are many clubs for students.

Practical project , Good faculty but mixed crowd.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year you are eligible for placement sheat in college. The highest package was 1.5 cr approx and average 7-8 lakh. Percentage of students to get placement should be around 1/4 of overall students means . I will apply for both on campus and off campus placement.

The placements of GCET are considered average to above average for a private college. The average usually looms around 5LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was 39 LPA by Autodesk. Around 70-80 percent students are placed every year.

Placement is good the highest placement was in 2022 that is 49 LPA and this year also 20 LPA of 3 students and 15 lpa of 4 students and many of 5 to 10 lpa . If a student does not get package or job it is his or her fault. Amy be he or she has not prepared or have any skill to get placed if you have potential you can get placed. Every student in college get placed at minimum 3 lpa. The placement rate is 90 %.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd year. The placement of the college is decent. The average package for tech branches stands at 4-5 LPA. Most of the offers are made from mass recruiters like TCS, cognizant, etc. However, product-based companies also visit the campus but very few students get short-listed for them. The highest package for the 2025 batch was around 22 lakhs from JP morgan in which 2 students got placed. Microsoft also offered a package of 18 LPA. The placement percentage is around 50-60%. If you maintain 8+ CGPA and have the fundamentals clear then you can definitely secure a decent package from this college. The placement department of the college is supportive.

The sharda university review

I choose this college as it was close to my home, this is the first reason as i can travel daily safely. Also the reviews for this college were very good on google and other platforms. A decent college with good Facilities

To eligible in the course you must have completed the 12th class and to grab the scholarship you must have fullfill the requirements You can find the application form in there website search for sharda university and click on apply now . Application fees is free . You can find the starting and ending of Application dates on their website. The timing of exam are divided very well like generally 3 hours for Main exam and 1hour30min for practical exam . The admission process can be done online and offline both ways .
