- All the faculties are highly qualified professionals and always over delivers.
- Out of the all the things I would rate college management the highest as they are simply the best.
- During semester breaks the students who are not enrolled for Internships the university arranges workshops for them during both summer and winter breaks.
Dislikes
- Managing attendance here is very difficult as it next to impossible to maintain a 80% attendance and if we fail fines are levied for the same.
Course Curriculum Overview
I didn't wanted to mix things as IT engineering is fully IT subjects and not the others which we have but we do have all the subjects which are required to master IT engineering. So, I love my course and I hope no useless subjects are added under pressure because length wise our course is already quite vast.
Internships Opportunities
Infosys, FV Tech and new age companies and even the Fintech companies were there for providing Internships last year. Our university takes care that students do get internships and those who fails workshops and industrial training programs are organised for them during breaks.
Placement Experience
Icici, Lenskart and many reversal companies and Tech comapnies made their way to our college. For IT engineers only IT companies vouches and I am happy that getting a job in core company is important then building tech for non-tech comapnies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Sharda School of Engineering and Technology is definitely or let's say without a debate is the best college of our university. The fees too ain't that high but I won't claim it to be budget wind too as 2.7 lakhs a year for IT engineering is what it costs at Sharda University.
Campus Life
Our college has events like none other, I mean there are 7-8 colleges and every college will have their events lined up and all are allowed to be a part of it. Our college is vast and besides all departments buildings we also have sports stadium, multiple canteens and greenery that can boast a forest.
Admission
I applied at Chandigarh University and even took admissions there. However, I left the college during feel free period as I didn't liked that and then I enrolled at Sharda University where my 12th score was enough to secure the admissions.
Faculty
At Sharda University faculties are too committed as they would extend the classes and even have extra classes because our course for the IT is lengthier than CSE and therefore extra classes becomes mandatory. Even if we say we will dos self study, the faculties would still be not satisfied and will take the classes again and again until they are satisfied.
Night Life
Our college has everything but our campus is not allowing non hostel students to stay the college past 7 pm. During events though it's opened as long as the event lasts and JK mall and Food Courts like the SNU and others are nearby.
