Midnapore day college is one of the best colleges for those who want to success in future life.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is very strong and easy to handle, Great internal structure, Experience and expert teachers doing the job.

Foreign policy enabled, Campasing on every 6 months,minimum salary 5000.

College Events

Large, In local area, centre of midnapore, durga puja, saraswati puja happens in our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships available from Deenabandhu trust.org., loan is not available.

Campus Life

No matter of sexual or gender it depending on marks, Economic structure strong. Just a little ragging on 1st year, but after that it is very comfortable.

Hostel Facilities

2000 per candidate on hostel, hassaleless activities, PG's avarage rental plan 1500.

Alumni/Alumna

Not a bad experience with them expect 1st year ragging.

I wanted to dive deep into the actual concepts and workings of the economy and understand how the world works from an economist's point of view. Sadly the curriculam doesnt bridge the gap between theory and real life. It focuses heavily on textbook and not how the world works.

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

The Physical Chemistry faculties are the best I got, that influenced me to carry forward my research carrier in Physical Chemistry. It was good to be a part of that college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course is good but you have to opt for masters and PhD to get a good placement. After bsc there's not any placement. The curriculum was basically practical and theoretical based. But I think it should be more practical so that we can get a job after doing bsc. The teaching method was good I didn't have any problem with that. As it was under Calcutta University so the exam questions were too difficult, sometimes it came out of our syllabus , i think they should change this a little bit .

The reality of SCC

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus for BSc. Microbiology Hons. was in line with my interests. Few topics like virology, bacteriology, and diversity of the microbial workd are what drew my attention to pick this course. Although there are some portions which one would consider "boring", but I believe every subject has its interesting as well as boring portions. It's seems fair to judge a subject by seeing if the "boring" portions outweigh the "interesting" parts or not.

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness of the course curriculum, my rating is solid 4.1 out of 5. Because it offers a variety of courses like compulsory english, environmental science, constitution values of India, Inter Disciplinary Courses where one can opt for a variety of subjects which change along with the course proceeds or semester changes. Not only that two major papers and one minor paper are present throughout the semester. As a student we should be well aware of our country and its law as well as how we can keep our environment healthy followed by sustainable development.

I love my college.

I applied at pravat kumar college at contai,purba Medinipur and get confirmed admission but the infrastructure of that institute is not so good but our college have a quiet impressive faculties and infrastructure. I was not rejected by any college I applied.
