If you think to complete your graduation only then you applied in this college but you must have passed with 12th standard exam with 65% marks then you are eligible to apply also you passed the tenth standard exam also in this need 50% marks. Your BA Honours stream course for 3 years teaching method was quite good. Also, there is a total of six semesters and each semester is between 6 months. No faculty program s available for your course and teacher student communication need to grow.

Internships Opportunities

Hardly 2 or 3 internship programs held in this college. No company visits there is no stipend. No outbreak projects to clarify your tasks if doing them on your own then your results will be good and this type of education system needs to be developed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees hikes are common at this time but the current passed covid outbreak period fees structure was balanced. For general students with good marks, only scholarships are available but other caste students get many facilities.

Campus Life

Only in swarasti puja occasion, there is some 2 days programme and other dates like 15th august, 26th January etc. No sports activities but an NSS unit here to conduct a few campaigns in many places. No official websites were conducted by students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

Review of the college where i spend three long years and gathered every knowledge that is available there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I used to read so many novels from my childhood and that inspired me in getting attracted to this field. We used to have the fecility of having seminar in the end of every month after compleating of each lessons. And this process helped us in true education. After every year professors from differnt parts of the country used to come for a seminer for overall groth of the students. Actually is theory teaching style is followed in the college, according to me some developments in the practical teaching can be used. Semister is held at the end of every six months and the exams are used to be moderate in nature.

To be honest Bolpur college is not the best or very good college under Burdwan university. But it's one of the good colleges around our area. It is near the station, so you don't have any trouble finding the college.Our college is under Burdwan university, so the questions & rules are the same as other colleges under the Burdwan university. College had enough buildings & classroom for all the departments.Also there are library, student counsellor, common rooms. Every department has good teachers. At the end of the semester students scored good marks. Practical rooms are full of equipments, so you don't have a problem there.
