Remarks
The procedure of admission is quite simple there is no entrance exam for the BTech course but there is an interview or gd round where you will be tested on carouse parameters like your aptitude, General awareness, your achievements, and some academic questions other than this they have divided the process in marks 50 marks for your interview 15marks for your achievements certificates,15marks as per 12th percentage and 20 for your jee mains score. If you have scored above 60 you will be eligible for admission in dei , and you will be given a branch on the basis of your score above 75 you will be eligible to get electrical which is the top-notch branch here and has the highest rate of placement. With an average package of 8 lakh /annum and have the option to select CS, electronics, and communication as your specialization in the 5th semester which is the best feature in my opinion if you are targeting FAANG.
Course Curriculum Overview
Talking about the course features the main feature that every student is looking for is the package and the number of companies visiting, in this course the package is quite decent as compared to other courses and large no. of companies are visiting and this is no. is increasing every year. There are about 350 students in my course in all tha 5 branches and 80 are in my branch which is electrical and as far as the faculty qualification is concerned all the faculties had done their master's from reputed college of India and abroad like IIT Delhi, IIT Kharagpur, London university, Stanford, etc. and they are very helpful and friendly in teaching, now talking about the term exam there are 2 class test per semester out which 1 best is counted and an end sem exam and there are external viva of all the practical subjects per semester and to get just passed is quite easy even if you are a average students because of their internal marks but you have to be prepared for CTs and end sem exams.
Internships Opportunities
There are two options are there whether you can go for an internship on your own or by campus there are lot of companies have visited like torent HCL TCS etc and many students also got an internship in DRDO Microsoft royal enfiled etc, and talking about the stipend some companies provide and some are not and if we take an average the stipend can vary from 10000 to 20000 depending on company roles offered are SDE intern, developer intern, project leads intern, etc.
Placement Experience
From 6 sem onward students are eligible to sit in various internship exams and 7 sem onwards you can sit in placements and the companies visited every year are honda TCS HCL Infosys Wipro oracle adobe Qualcomm intel Mahindra Capgemini BHEL Suzuki, Crompton, havels, Philips IBM American express bank TATA motors Microsoft HERO and many more and the placements in electrical computer science is 100% in the previous batch out of 80 students 62 got placed and 10 goes for higher studies and rest choose for there startups. now talking about the packages the average package is going about 8 lakh/annum and the highest package of last year is 15.5lakh/annum and the profiles for which the students opt are SDE, data analyst, software checking, team lead, web developer, etc. If you have 80 to 85 % then you can sit in any company's placement exam. I am targeting product-based companies like FAANG and want to join them as a web developer.
Fees and Financial Aid
In my opinion, there is no any other college in the whole of UP which such a low fee you have to pay just 52300 for all the 4 years of your engineering and there is no fee charged if you got any supplementary in any subject and the great part is you can fill the form of UP scholarship by which you can get your 70 - 80% fee back in your pocket and they also provides many free things like free uniform shirts, lap apparels, etc. So if you are concerned about the fee then your are wrong it just like 1-semester fee of many private colleges.
Campus Life
There are lot of fests are organized every semester like drama fest, singing, any sports competitions and there are many technical fests also conducted like internal hackathons, exhibitions collaborative fests with many reputed colleges like IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, etc end the fest are continuously organized even every semester you have some fests, here you have the facility of the library every faculty has its own library and there is the central library for the whole university and you also given books as per your syllabus for a whole semester at the rate of 10rs per book from your faculty. The classrooms are greatly equipped they consist of green, white and digital boards, projectors, LED screens, and have the capacity of holding more than 100 students, sports are awesome there is a subject in every course which games .there are many students groups for students like GDSC, training cell, fab lab, etc.
Interview Experience
There is no entrance exam in the BTech course they just conducted a GD or an interview round in different batches with a panel of 5-6 proof. and if you cleared this round then there is a councelling round, so in the interview for GD you will be tested on various parameters like your general knowledge, academic knowledge, your achievements, and your interests, there are some questions they usually ask are about your city history, famous places, recent acts in your city. some questions from chemistry and physics and the chapters on the focused during my gd are electrostatics, atomic structure, gravitation, laws of motion, surface chemistry, set, trigonometry, etc and the gd is gone to about 20 to 30 min per student. there is a tip here8 if you have some certificates whether they are national, state, or district level please do attach them they will definitely go to increase your chances of admission, and I had just studied some formulas from my 12th and some current affairs.
