Entrance Preview

I cleared AIEEE (NOW IIT MAINS) i scored 108 marks. I got this college from counselling.

Internships Opportunities

Companies came in our college are - Tata consultancy services(TCS), tech mehindra, L&T, KPIT and indian nevy. The eligibility criteria for TCS and tech mahindra are 60% and and or other companies it is 55%.TCS organised a seminar in which guides us about the intervew and aptitude questions.

Placement Experience

According to placement this college does not provide good placement. Approx fourty percent students are placed every year. Companies of this college are TCS, tech mahindra,KPIT, L&T, INDIAN NAVY. Till now 57 students are placed in TCS,24 students are placed in tech mahindra 7 students are placed in tech mahindra zero in indian navy.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is expensive in accorence to facilities provided by the college. For genral cast students fee is 110000 but no utilization of fees in this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

It provides good scholarship for ST/ST/obc students. For the local students they have to pay only 2000rs per year. For outsiders, your state goverment provied you a scholarship. For bihar students it is 20000rs and for jharkhand students it is 54000rs provided by goverment. College provides a loan facility from allahabad bank situated in our campus.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. Best college review

I appleid for ycce college , raisoni and priyadarshini college of engineering in which i got priyadarshini with branch etc which was unexpected . I was not expecting this but when i researched and studied i found it was worth getting as it has many facilities than other college and the staff is wonderful. I dont no what went wrong with me in other colleges as i was eligible for it i got 82% in cet exam but i didn't get it. For getting admission in pce you should pass 10+2 with good percentage and should appear for cet . You can directly get admission or can get through the cap round....Read More
