Entrance Preview

I gave MH-CET exam. I scored 75 marks in it. I got a college of mumbai in first round. But i want a college near my city thats why i apply for this college in second round and thus i got it. The admission process was according to the Cap procedure.

Course Curriculum Overview

If your elective in 12th grade is electronics then must go for this branch and the gradually increase in demand of digitisation makes this branch more demandable. Also it is easier as compare to other branch and also we can go to software line as well as our core line.

Internships Opportunities

I dont know about the other branches, may be the civil branch student get so but in our branch direct campus recruitment procedures has been taken. I think in the civil branch their may be the tie uo between the core companies that provides one semester internship to them.

Placement Experience

The job opportunities is quite higher in our college. The college has a good tie up with the finest companies of india. And the placement is also impressive. At an average, 65% student get placed. For that the college undertake many practice sessions for the recruitment.

College Events

There are several events as per the branches just like our branch conducts tech-krunch in which many technical and cultural events takes place. In nagpur our college rank 2nd in the events. There is an event called jigyasa which gets celebrated by the whole college in order to show the prosperity and unity among students and staff.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Best college review

I appleid for ycce college , raisoni and priyadarshini college of engineering in which i got priyadarshini with branch etc which was unexpected . I was not expecting this but when i researched and studied i found it was worth getting as it has many facilities than other college and the staff is wonderful. I dont no what went wrong with me in other colleges as i was eligible for it i got 82% in cet exam but i didn't get it. For getting admission in pce you should pass 10+2 with good percentage and should appear for cet . You can directly get admission or can get through the cap round....Read More
