Varad Sahasrabudhe's Review On Sir Parashurambhau College, Pune

College campus is really huge. And our college is not maintaining it properly. There were lot of trees in that campus but recently many of them were cut off, I still don't know why. But considering the learning part, college is really good.

There was no such exam actually. After passing from 10th Standard, for further learning I joined college and I chose Sir Parshurambhau College especially because it is well known college for it's activities, teachers, etc.

Course was pretty simple, we had semesters, vivas, project submissions and final exams. We never felt any pressure about any of it as we were loving it.

As a matter of fact I was not interested in doing internship while learning and the course I chose do not require that kind of experience so I have no comments regarding this question

As I mentioned earlier it is not applicable to my course in the college. Hence, placement and job opportunities was not question in our curriculum.

There were many cultural programs, festivals celebrated in our college. We had Ganeshotsav, Holi, Dahi-Handi, Independence Day, Cultural Days like Diwali, X'mas, etc.

Fee structure is feasible I will say because our college is government - aided so fees were quiet less and all of the reservation category people got their discounts on this "low fees", so it was quiet feasible for all.

I never availed for any scholarship or facility from the college but as I mentioned before, as our college is aided fees are low so nobody actually needed such kind of facility.

There were many cultural activities in college like Sanskriti Mandal, German Day, etc. Many road plays were performed by us in the campus and around the campus as well regarding relevant political or economical condition, religion, terrorism, etc. Gender ratio was almost equal in our college.

Hostel facilities were not good actually, building are old and mess is really dirty. Many students that's why joined mess outside of the college. I was not hostelite so I don't know about the rent structure but few of friends told me, who were hostelite, that rooms are really poor and not worth Rs.2500/- per month. I am not sure about this figure but this is something my friend told me.

Our seniors were also quiet friendly. I personally never faced any problem interacting with them and same was their experience about their seniors. I never faced any situation relating to ragging or anything relating to it.

Exams were conducted in entire college campus. As our campus is huge there was no problem with the structure or the availability of resources.

Faculties were also good and supportive. They always tried to help us, motivate us, interacted with us in all types of activities, let it be learning or social or cultural activities.
