Remarks

If you want to take admission in B.A.(social work) then you must have an aggregate of 50% in your 10+2. You can find the application form on the official website of the university. After filling out the form, you can visit the campus for further admission process. There is a reservation criterion is also there, If you belong from SC/ST category, then you just need 45% in your 10+2.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because I have always wanted to go for social work. Coming to the faculties, they are highly qualified and very experienced. They are very frank with their students. There were 45 students were there and 8 faculties were there for them. The faculties are well-educated and very talented, they use very efficient method for teaching the students which is very quite effective. The term exam was taken as per directive by the COE and they are easy to pass.

Placement Experience

4

The students are eligible for the placements from their last year. Many companies visited the college for recruitment. Around 70-75% students gets placed on-campus. The placements are not that good, the highest package was 8lpa and average package is 4lpa. Top recutiters are TCS, Amazon, NIIT, Wipro who visit the campus for placements. My plans are to go for higher studies after graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fee hike policy in the college, the university demands a total of 27,500 rupees only for the three years. If you are a hostler, then your cost of study will go a little high, otherwise, you can complete your graduation within 30000. The university also provides scholarships for its eligible students.

Campus Life

4.5

The college owns a central as well as a departmental library along with a reading room, a huge ground, a cafeteria, a seminar hall, and a parking area is also availiable. There were more than 70+ classrooms are there for lectures and labs were also there for practicals. An annual sports day is also conducted by the college and many small clubs events were also organized by the students.

Interview Experience

4

I had to face an interview at the time of admission. When I visit the campus, the admission department head came and asked me to introduce myself, then asks about my native place and then he asked me why I choose this course. After that, he asked me some questions from 10 and 10+2.

Any of my siblings studied from this college which gave me a clear view of the environment of this college from the start. It was also very close to my home making it easier for me to commute daily. And as I always wanted to study in an all girls college, this seemed a better option. It had good faculty and infrastructure making it different from other colleges around.
