Full of Entertainment

There is no bad remarks. I just love my college, college life and friends I have made here. College management is very disciplined and I have no complaints regarding it.

I have opted for GCG-11 as it has a good reputation among the colleges in Chandigarh. I have taken admission in B.A. for which there is no entrance exam. Admission is on the basis of marks scored in 12th standard and I have scored 71%.

Course curriculum is very good. I have opted for subjects of my choice and in which I have more interest. I have Fine Arts, English, Punjabi, Sociology etc. as my subjects.

I am in first year and companies came in colleges for final placement of final year student. So, I have no knowledge of the companies came in our college.

I have heard from my seniors that according to past experience there had been many good companies which gave placement to the many students with very good salary package.

In my college, there were may events organized to enhance the talent of the students. A large number of students participated in such activities. I also have participated in some of the events like poem speaking, Miss beautiful face contest etc. I am also a member of skit team of my college and represented our college in two more competitions with my team.

Fee structure is also normal as it is a govt. college. Fee is paid in installment twice a year which is convenient to the students and also to their parents.

I have not availed any such scholarship/ loan facility offered by my college. But there is a scholarship for those students whose all over annual income is less than Rs. 150000/- and also for single girl child, there is a scholarship.

Our seniors are very good and helpful to us. Infact in my skit team seniors always help us by encouraging and by giving appropriate advice to us. There is no ragging in college as it is banned by Govt. and college staff is very strict about it and students also follow them.

Exam structure has changed now to semester system which I found very convenient and easy compared to older one.

Faculty is helpful whenever I have any problem regarding anything professors help me every time. Not only in studies, they also help us in other problems also.
