Remarks

There are truly many ways to get admission in B.Sc. in IISC Bangalore I was gone through the easiest way which was to clear the KVPY exam ( both stages 1 and 2 ) I you are a KYPY scholar then you can directly apply to the college via an online application form which will cost you around 800 rupees The other way is to get a very good rank in JEE ADVANCED which is definitely more difficult Yes, the college offers reservations for SC and ST students

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I am currently pursuing a Research course of Bachelor of Science in Physics here which is a 3-year course and fully devoted to studying the theories of physics which will we have to research further. The Students are less in the Institute as very fewer students can make it to here. The Teachers are all Research Scientists and the best Professors in the country who teaches us applied Sciences. It is quite difficult to pass the examination you will have to study a lot.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is almost negligible for the Students as All most every Student is getting a Scholarship from NTSE or KVPY or directly by the Institute, It will barely cost you 50000 rupees for your whole course even if you do not avail Scholarship. It is very likely here to get an Internship Job for the Students in Organisations like HAL, ISRO and DRDO but everything depends upon your hard work

Campus Life

4.5

The campus lies in the very centre of the city of Bangalore. The campus Infrastructure is old but very beautiful and Well cared for as well The Hostel Life is also very amazing here, students from all over the country come here to pursue a course in their Dream college after the class, we do play Sports like volleyball dailly. we also have Social Groups and societies for co-curricular which is being run by the Students as well as Former Students

The course i choose is bsc because of the different subjects in this course it has electronics and computer science . The curriculum prepares me by special courses and the new ways of teaching. The methods of teaching is good but we need new ways like learning with games. The timing of exam is 3 hours for eights marks, and the difficulty is the benches are not comfortable

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.
