Remarks

The entry form was available on the VIT website. In comparison to other institutions, VIT's registration process opens and closes quickly. To be eligible for the course, I was needed to meet the institute's cutoff for that particular course. The counseling had a negligible amount to pay and then I appeared in counseling.

Course Curriculum Overview

VIT had a lot of activities to perform as well as a firm subject to study such as Software Engineering Operating Systems, Microprocessors and Interfaces Computer Networks, E-Commerce Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Computer Graphics Embedded Systems etc. I had a practical as well as the theoretical approach towards it.

Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships could begin as early as the fifth semester. Internships were chosen based on grades and examinations administered by the employer and payment was made accordingly.

Placement Experience

VIT's placements were fantastic. I had experienced it closely. We were allowed to appear in the front of companies from the last year of course completion. Many businesses come to VIT such as Apple, DE Shaw, Facebook, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Wells Goldman, Paypal and many more. The maximum package reported for batch placements was 48 LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My academic fee in the VIT was 300000 for the year in the year I was placed. the fee remained constant throughout the academic year. In addition we had a department to provide scholarships and related services to assist us to get some of the scholarships. Few of my friends had opted it from the University.

Campus Life

In VIT, There were groups and organizations where we might advance in their chosen career. On campus, there would be a lot of encouragement for athletics and the summer program. VIT members compete in a variety of sports and technical events, and many of the accomplishments were in result of the participation.

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from the 7th semester.companies Like tcs,wipro,zoho,infosys vist. The highest packages is 24lap,average 3lpa and around 85%of student get placed. I plan to start my career in IT and gain experience.

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

The truth of RMD ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

Life of an MBA at VIT

All of us know VIT for its flagship program which is B. Tech but its MBA program is too good as well. I gave the CAT exam and secured 85 percentile which helped me in taking admission at VIT. NAAC accredited the university Grade A and it is ranked 51-75 for MBA/PGDM by NIRF in 2020. Another thing is the cost of study which is far less compared to other B schools.
