It is Asia's only college to provide advanced diplomas in foundry/forge technology. Faculty members are very familiar and very respectful to the students. Every department has nearly 8-10 faculty. Nearly All the facilities are of doctorate level. And the teaching method here is very impressive. Some faculties need to change their teaching method but the other teachers make it neutral. Semesters happen every 6 months. It's easy to pass if one studies well.

The very same companies and many other companies also provide internship opportunities to students who want to prove themselves and it is a very good opportunity for them. One usually has to take up the role of group leader in the internship programmes. One has to complete various projects and fulfil the targes given to them. The project involves analysing the company's work outputs, etc.

The students are eligible for the placements from the second last semesters of their respective courses. Each year a large number of companies participate in the placements. Notable companies are, HCL, Oriental Foundry, RKFL, Ramakrishna Forgings, etc. The highest package usually varies from 5 - 6.5 lakhs per annum and the average package is 4 lakhs per annum. One usually gets a post of JUNIOR ENGINEER & SUPERVISOR, etc. After getting a degree I will surely try my best to get a decent company and will try to prosper there in my job life.

The cost to study is very affordable, with a minimal or no fees hike. Moreover, students get to avail different types of scholarships including the ones offered by their respective States. Thus, one does get decent financial assistance. Talking about jobs, the college almost provides 100% placements with decent packages.

The college organizes two fests in a year named, JINKS & PRANAV. Usually, it happens in the month of August to September. When it comes to the library, I can assure you it does have the best in class library facilities and books. The infrastructure is huge, one gets access to a huge number of books. The classrooms are associated with the best quality of Tables, chairs, lights, fans and projectors. Each year the college organizes tournaments on Every sport on the campus. There are various social groups and sports clubs like NIAMT Football Club. Also the college has its own website of its name.

The college has 5 hostels,l. Each hostel is maintained and looked after by warden, caretaker and gaurds. Each rooms have a fan, two cupboards, two study table, two chairs and two beds with charging ports and sufficient lights. The mess provides food to the students which are very hygienic, healthy and good. The menu of the food is divided according to a week's chart. To avail a room in these hostels, one has to go through a systematic and organized process of registration along with a proper and legal Covid vaccination certificate. The locality of our hostel is very pleasant, surrounded by trees.
