This college is MHRF college that is equivalent value of NITS.

After qualifying for the ADC entrance examination, students register in the nifft adc course where the selection process is done based on the cutoff rank. Generally, the cutoff rank closes at 56 for general category students. Only Diploma in metallurgy or mechanical or production engineering students or b sc candidates can apply for this course. Application fees are probably 500 and the entrance exam is held in June month on each year. The entrance exam is not too much hard to crack for regular students , just practice previous years' questions we will find the pattern to crack this exam.

All the faculties of nifft are highly qualified. Either they did PHD from IITs or from a foreign Institute or they have done research work at CSIR or equivalent. They are supportive and helpful and their teaching skills are very good. That's why I joined this Institute. There are two courses one is foundry another is forge. The exams are two types end sem and mid sem type.

Yes, our college provides internship and general stipend charge ad course and curriculum provided by internship authority of college. 3rd sem is all about internship and training. You have to go for training at 2 different industries for 45 days each and make a project and have to attend the seminar. 3rd sem marks will be given on your project and seminar basis. An industry like rkfl, wagon, tata motors etc are providing the training.

One Institute which provides foundry and forges specialization in Aisa. Placements are too good in NIFFT. above 90% of students get placed every year. Not only Adc but in btech and MTech students are also getting jobs from here. The highest average package is about 2.6lakhs CTC. Highest 3.5-3 lakhs. Most companies are core companies. Jindal, Sri ram piston, tata motors, Bharat forge, rkfl etc.

Campus life is not too good but you can have fun. You can play football, volleyball, table tennis etc. The library is good, you can get too many books from the library. You can learn a lot of things from them.

I am staying in the hostel. In the hostel, all facilities like a room for double or triple you can opt for you get that room. Two tables two beds two chairs etc will provide for you. Mess facilities are also good and atmosphere and environment good for study. Ragging free hostel.
