The admission procedure is done on the basis of jee mains score only, from the year 2021 but before that, it was done on the basis of upsee ranking but now it is merged and solely on the basis of jee mains, the college is under the affiliation of aktu, Lucknow which is a state govt. Technical education body.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course name is artificial intelligence and machine learning, cause its the need of the coming hours, the faculty is well qualified and student faculty ratio is also good, all the faculty members are experienced with doctorates in the respective field along with good communication skills and command on the subject, the exam is done on a timely basis 3 internal examinations were held on the basis of aktu pattern before the final semester exam and if a student had to go through the notes and payed attention to the lectures he can pass these examination.
Placement Experience
From 7 semesters students become serious about their places. Companies like Amazon, Facebook, Infosys, cognizant, oracle frequently visited the college with more than 700+ offered made even in these covid times, the highest package was 31lpa offered by amazon, and average package ranged between 6-7lpa, about 90 percent of students from Cs department got placed, I want to pursue MBA from instead after my graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are quite affordable considering a private college in Delhi NCR, its around 1.35 lakhs per annum, and in future years its 1.10 lakh per year, so fees are quite acceptable, there is a up state scholarship policy for the economically weaker section students and when it comes to jobs college provide a healthy environment to Co. Pwlte in the industry and gives a lot of support and guidance to get yourself placed, but at the end of the day it's your hard work and perseverance college can only give you the path but you have to cover the journey
Campus Life
Like is chill here at GCET, good amount of fest and cultural activities are held on timely basis to support students to get themselves extracurricular well prepared, coding fest were organised and a good coding culture is seen here, a wide variety of writers can be found at the college library, classrooms are big spacious and well furnished in sports fest are organised timely where sports like football, badminton, hockey, volleyball, cricket, basketball etc are played, there is a social group called 'daksh' which is runned by cse dept students in our college which encourage teamwork and unity among selves.
