Decent college for B.tech with amazing campus life experience

Got selected for B.tech Course in IT branch via AIEEE Exam rank. Any Engineering entrance exam scorecard. Everything was done on paper offline in college with the help of counsellors and help desks.

I completed my course in Information technology. All the faculties in the entire course were super amazing. The faculties were very friendly and understanding and helpful. Total 8 semesters, only initial semesters are little difficult as you are trying and adjusting into a new environment, apart from that its smooth learning and good experience.

From the 7th semester onwards students become eligible for the campus placements. Companies came in like- Genpact, techM, Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, daffodil, Nagarro, etc. The highest package was 8-12 lakh, the average package was 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs. 65 to 70% of students got placed. You can pursue further studies after btech like- Mtech or MBA based on your likings.

Fees were pretty basic compared to all the other engineering courses nearby. There was no hike in the middle of the course, it was fixed the entire time. The scholarship was for students initially in 1 or 2nd semester who have scored above 85% in 10th and 12th class.

Campus life and hostel life was pretty amazing. I can say the best experience in my life till date, I had allot of cultural, sports and technical events throughout. Seniors and faculty were super amazing throughout. Classrooms and amenities are also pretty nice. There were so many groups- robotics, cultural, placements, sports, technical, etc.

Hostel food was good. The room accommodation was decent not that great. Scope of improvements in the type of hostel rooms. wardens were good. more 2 seater rooms should be there. No idea about PGs and hostels nearby, it was not close to 5 km for sure.
