Remarks

College management is rigid not flexible when it comes to helping students, office staff is all rude, college has many more obstacles but a proper management can overcome this difficulty.

Entrance Preview

Given CET, also appeared for JEE got admission in it, could not find another choice. So opted for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Satisfactory little bit outdated so needs to be updated regularly. Lab has old instruments other facilities needs to be introduced in order to improve the curriculam.

Internships Opportunities

Haven't heard about it, as research and development department is not there, this section should be introduced in order to enhance curriculum, than internship can be offered.

Not that great as i was an average student, could not get placement from the college, overall i find there is a very good opportunities for students provided by college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure- is expensive as fees increases every succeeding year, so, do not know whom to tell about the same. I is supposed to be less and feasible.

Yes, there is scholarship for backward class students but not available for other like general category students.

Campus life is good, extracurricular is awesome each has its own fun. Fun increases every year weather it is robotics, labs, sports or debates gets better every year.

There is neither hostel nor mess available in the college, Such things are very essential for student who come from different cities.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is strong and effective, senior students are hard but helps fellow students as well as juniors to guide them towards learning, there is a scope for an improvement.

Exam Structure

Labs very frequent leaving with a hectic day, mostly it was chilled out lab instruments upgradation needed.

Faculty

In a way it was a good experience but more experienced staff members are required, subject-wise there a deficit of staff members. This clauses should be looked deeply.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Should I go for VCET ??!!

I stay in goregaon and for me travelling in the reverse direction is easier than travelling to other colleges. The timing of the trains and the crowd is also pretty managable. I did apply for various college. KJ Somaiya and Xaviers are the college were I was accepted but according to my comfort I chose this college. As the Fees is also reasonable and the traveling time is also saved, So for me it was a the comfort zone I'd say. And other college I was rejected due to the score was not compitent as they needed it. It takes admission on the basis of CET JEE so the admission process is almost online they do have their institute round on their website for which the result is also given on the website itself....Read More

Review about recent upgrades at VCET

Admission process is smooth at the college. The management is very clear with all the instructions. Eligibility exams are MHTCET and JEE mains and also diploma in related field.
