I have been selected in jee mains My rank was nearly 22500. The course in which I took admission was electrical engineering. The basic eligibility condition is that u have to score around 98% le for general and accordingly lesser for another category in jee mains. U will have to apply for jee mains which are held twice a year for this

My course is electrical . I chose this as per scope and placement of this branch in this college . Faculty is quite decent and some may not teach well but overall satisfactory. Ratio is around 8: 116 . All professors are mtech and phd from iits and nits . Exams are timely held and liberal checking used to happen

Most internships opportunities are available from the 3rd year and a few grab it in the 2nd year too. Many of the internships are converted into ppo's . Most internships are in the software domain and few in the core profile. The highest internships profiles are grabbed by cse followed by ece and ee . Some of the companies providing internships are tata steel, adobe etc

This is the STRENGTH of this college. Every branch here has around 90% + placement record. Every senior of every branch if interested and little bit serious also gets placed easily. This is what this college is famous for. More than 150 companies come and the maximum is of IT field only and few cores and few analytics. The highest package of our branch is around 35 lac and of cse is around 50 lakhs grabbed by 4 seniors in ATLASSIAN company. Our avg. Pkg is around 12 lakhs and it is increasing

Life at campus is great in nit jamshedpur .Our annual fest is cultfest and ojass. Libraries facility is also good . We get all sorts of book here includings academics and non academics . We have a lot of sports club of each game like cricket and football . Nss and uba is social club run by students and i am part of them both

In 1st year u will get doubly shared accomodation in which u have to share your room with your batchmate but from 2nd year u will get single accomodation . Meal quality is also great , u will taste all variety of foods here including veg and non veg . U will get your room alloted once your college opens and hostel charge is also less around 16k per semester including mess cost .
