IMT Ghaziabad - Take initiative and network extensively

There is no particular eligibility for the course except for graduation. The college allows you to follow your passion and explore your interests further. The admission process is thorough and holistic, it tests you on your comprehension, writing skills, and then tests your subject knowledge.

My choice of stream of choice is Finance. The professors are knowledgeable. They have industry experience, as well as academic expertise. For term 1 and term 2 classes were held online, so teachers were limited in their ability to engage students due to the restrictions of the online mode. Exams were held on time and were rigorous. They were a balanced mix of case-based questions and application-based.

Students are expected to go on their internships post term 3 of their 1st year of the PGDM program. The main deliverable expected out of them during this period is a "summer internships projects" which gauges the tasks the student have executed during their internship.

IMT Ghaziabad offers campus internships and campus placements. The placement office and the placement committee work diligently to get the entire student body placed. Many companies visit the campus from startups, to established MNCs. The college boasts of 100% placements. Rest of the details are available on the college website.

The fee structure isn't clear. The division and fee bifurcation as per components hasn't been disclosed. Scholarships are offered based on merit and means. There are provided after each year. The scholarship is called: 1. Smt. Leela Nath Memorial Scholarship - 5% of academic fees for all female students. And others.

Annual Fest is called "Passion". It is held in December. The event is filled with multiple events. The college is largely student-run, where the students directly interact with the administration on various touchpoints, be it overall student welfare, mess menu, academic affairs, admissions, cultural events, alumni engagement, and many more. The library is very well equipped with a plethora of curricular and reference books. During the pandemic, the library provided each student remote access to its various resources such as online databases, ebooks, and other reference materials. The main campus as well as the CDL campus have ample sports and related amenities, with basketball, tennis, badminton, and a function gymnasium.

The hostels are compulsory, as the PGDM at IMT Ghaziabad is a residential program. The meal quality is adequate. The mess is clean and the food served tastes well. Registering for hostels is easy, it is handled by the student body itself. There are ample rooms available to accommodate each student.

The topics are generally related to what one has written in the application, their educational background, career details, subject details, and general awareness. To prepare one must be thorough with their application, prepare what they have written there and follow the events in news to be apprised of world affairs. P.S.
