NIT Goa Review

NITs are one of the best institutes n India for engineering and they also provide very good packages and good educational quality. NIT Goa is among the top 100 NITs in India that is popular for its B.Tech program. As per my academics and JEE score, I was assigned NIT Goa in my JOSAA counselling. The college is good and as well it was also under my budget.

The curriculum of the college is very good and the curriculum properly follows the latest industrial guidelines and international standards. The curriculum provides us with proper knowledge of electrical circuits and electrical systems. The faculty of the college is very experienced. The faculty are not only of PhD standards but they have really very good research work experience from the top universities of India. The faculty is also easily approachable and they also help us to clear our doubts in a very simple and easy way.

An off-campus internship is also available and if any one of us want to opt off-campus internship can opt for it. the internship program of the college is optional and if we want to opt for a college internship program we have to register our details with the college placement committee and help us to identify good companies for internships.

The college placements are good and the college provides really very good packages. The college has a record of 100% placement and all thanks to the college placement committee as we have to register our detail with the college placement committee to take part in the placement drive of the college. The placement committee plays every crucial role in providing a good placement as they guidees us in each round of placement. The highest package for the batch was around 20 LPA and the average package was approx 9.50 LPA.

The college provides scholarships through various schemes like Post Matric Scholarship, Gagan Bharari Shiksha Yojana, Merit-Based Award to ST, National Scholarship for Higher Education for ST, Global Korea Scholarship, etc. To know about the college scholarship eligibility criteria one can log into the college's official website.

The campus life of the college is very good and simple. The college infrastructure is very well-maintained. The college has a no-ragging policy and they follow it very strictly. The college library is the house of many national and international authors' books. The library also has many international research journals. The college labs are properly maintained and they are equipped with all kinds of modern tools and facilities that are very useful during the project works.

The hostel infrastructure is very well maintained. The hostel is hygienic. The rooms are big and available on sharing basis. The hostel mess food is good and cooked in a hygienic environment. The hostel wardens and the staffs are very professional and work hard to maintain the hostel decorum. The hostel has 24 hours of power and water supply. At the price point of 8000, the hostel is worth it.
