The application should be for domestic residence. I Should have completed 10th from a recognized board. The application form is available on the bteup website by the name of jeecup. Yes, reservations are allocated for SCs, STs, and EWS. The minimum cut-off was 80/200. The application fee for jeecup is 250rs + bank charges for SC, and ST and for gen/obc, it is 350rs + bank charges. First of all location of the college is absolutely superb it is situated near the famous society Kakadeo in Kanpur. The college infrastructure that is expected from Government College is ok. The workshops are Good and the Staff faculty is also Good in nature and helping. Hostels are not provided by the college because of metro Work. College provides us with a good and green environment. In the final year, students also go on training purposes for different location sites. An annual fest named "Umang" has been celebrated here. Single Rooms : People have different opinions about this, but I have come to respect this particular facility at our campus. Location of campus (away from city) : This is a very subjective issue, but I think that the location of campus (distance from city) leaves us lesser distractions. Negatives :- Weak Alumni Base : Although it is definitely possible to achieve any goal in life without assistance from alumni, but their experience can definitely make the journey simpler for many. However, lately, many alumni of IIT Guwahati are connecting back with the student community and I am grateful to them for taking out their time for interacting with us. Single Rooms : Yes, I covered this in positives as well, but I think I must point out the cons of this facility. Students, especially in the first year, might feel lonely and find it hard to interact with others.
