Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is highly focussed on research. The syllabus is designed to provide advanced knowledge of technology to the students by learning designing and coding that can help them further contribute their knowledge in artificial intelligence. The exams test the critical thinking and problem solving abilities of the students.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities at the campus are enormous. The corporate relation cell of the college manages and organise on campus recruitments. The college also provides training programme. Some of the top recruiters include reliance, sony, LG, cannon etc. Summer training is also provided to the students after first two semesters.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course is divided into three years and per year fee is Rs. 35,500 which means total fee for the programme is Rs. 1,06,500 which can be considered expensive. To counter this the college provides scholarships like SAMAJ KALYAN NIDHI and also by Dr. K.N. Modi Foundation to meritorious students.

Campus Life

The college organise extra-curricular activities from time to time. Many inter college tournaments are also conducted. Students are provided with indoor and outdoor games as well as a gymnasium, health club along with meditation and yoga sessions.

Admission

Eligibility: 10th with science+math and a minimum score of 60 per cent. Admission forms are available online. Fill and submit the forms attached with required self-attested copies of the documents. Admission will be granted on the basis of counselling of the candidate.

Faculty

The faculty is highly qualified and dedicative. They use and enhance their teaching methodologies to make the students understand in a concept in lucid way. More emphasis is given to student response time in the classrooms. The teachers are very helpful and supportive.

Our study is important but the most important thing is the placement, which makes your career better. Our college has campus placement and many companies visit and hire our students. In many branches, not all the students get the placement but the students who are toppers and who are good in their study get the placement. I also dream to get a placement so that I can get a job quickly after my diploma. For that, I am really working hard and improving my skills, knowledge, and my scores. Tata Motors, Layam Group, Myntra, Bajaj, and other companies come to our college for the placement. In the final year of our course, this opportunity comes to us and we are very much awaited for that.

Best engineering college for BTech and polytechnic. Architecture department are also in our college. Labs, laboratories, libraries. Buses with camera. Girl hostels.

Placement Experience:

In the last semester, our senior get a job in many respected companies. About 70 to 80% of students placed in every year. About 40 students placed in Mechanical in core companies in this. Covid time by virtual placement drive. And minimum package for diploma student is 2.5 LPA to 5lpa.

Every year more than 90 percent of students placed in companies like Shalimar,eldeco, BCC, etc. The percentage should not below 60 percent for participate in interviews. Minimum salary package for freshers of diploma engineering hired 3.5 lakhs per annum. I am planning to go for the government junior engineers exam after completing my diploma

BEST GOVT. POLYTECHNIC IN UP

Remarks:

Positives Beautiful Campus : This might seem irrelevant to some, but the natural beauty is what comes to your rescue when you feel you have hit rock-bottom. Single Rooms : People have different opinions about this, but I have come to respect this particular facility at our campus. Location of campus (away from city) : This is a very subjective issue, but I think that the location of campus (distance from city) leaves us lesser distractions. Negatives :- Weak Alumni Base : Although it is definitely possible to achieve any goal in life without assistance from alumni, but their experience can definitely make the journey simpler for many. However, lately, many alumni of IIT Guwahati are connecting back with the student community and I am grateful to them for taking out their time for interacting with us. Single Rooms : Yes, I covered this in positives as well, but I think I must point out the cons of this facility. Students, especially in the first year, might feel lonely and find it hard to interact with others. A shared room provides you with one or more readily accessible friends whose privacy you can breach without asking, from day one. Mess : However the Mess System is undergoing a lot of changes, this is one aspect that has a lot of scope for improvement.

The minimum eligibility of the course is the 10th class but you can also do it after the 12th class too with any stream. But if you have completed the 12th class with the maths stream then you can get admission directly in the 2nd year. The application form is available on the BTEUP official website and you can enroll yourself there and you can find further information there too.
