I choose this college for admission because of the best placement and infrastructure facilities of the college. I take addmission by counseling of JEECUP in diploma civil engineering branch. This college rank is best than other private colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course of civil engineering because of the vast opportunities. In this branch of engineering, one can go private sector as well as government sectors. The teaching staff is well educated and experienced one. Teachers are cooperative in nature. The exams are conducted every month know as sessional exams and one pre-board exam before the semester exam which makes confidence for the semester exam.

Many companies visited our campus. Every year more than 90 percent of students placed in companies like Shalimar,eldeco, BCC, etc. The percentage should not below 60 percent for participate in interviews. Minimum salary package for freshers of diploma engineering hired 3.5 lakhs per annum. I am planning to go for the government junior engineers exam after completing my diploma

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 49150 rupees per year, If the student's economic conditions are not good he can apply government schlorship form. Our college also offers scholarships for merits holders. Our college chairman gives financial assistance to the economically weaker students.

Campus Life

Seminars of technology-related and other seminars are conducted from time to time in the college auditorium. Our college provides the best vast exposure to the students for extracurricular activities like sports, indoor games, outdoor games, carnival, tech quiz, fests, and annual festival Pragyan is celebrated every year

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are big and hygienic, two students can live in a room well-furnished room with fan table, chair, 24-hour electricity is provided. AC rooms are also available. The hostel mess provides good and healthy food to the students. The Mess menu is decided by the student committee of the hostel. One can also avail of PG and private rooms near the college as well as BKT.

Our study is important but the most important thing is the placement, which makes your career better. Our college has campus placement and many companies visit and hire our students. In many branches, not all the students get the placement but the students who are toppers and who are good in their study get the placement. I also dream to get a placement so that I can get a job quickly after my diploma. For that, I am really working hard and improving my skills, knowledge, and my scores. Tata Motors, Layam Group, Myntra, Bajaj, and other companies come to our college for the placement. In the final year of our course, this opportunity comes to us and we are very much awaited for that.

Best engineering college for BTech and polytechnic. Architecture department are also in our college. Labs, laboratories, libraries. Buses with camera. Girl hostels.

Placement Experience:

In the last semester, our senior get a job in many respected companies. About 70 to 80% of students placed in every year. About 40 students placed in Mechanical in core companies in this. Covid time by virtual placement drive. And minimum package for diploma student is 2.5 LPA to 5lpa.

Remarks:

Positives Beautiful Campus : This might seem irrelevant to some, but the natural beauty is what comes to your rescue when you feel you have hit rock-bottom. Single Rooms : People have different opinions about this, but I have come to respect this particular facility at our campus. Location of campus (away from city) : This is a very subjective issue, but I think that the location of campus (distance from city) leaves us lesser distractions. Negatives :- Weak Alumni Base : Although it is definitely possible to achieve any goal in life without assistance from alumni, but their experience can definitely make the journey simpler for many. However, lately, many alumni of IIT Guwahati are connecting back with the student community and I am grateful to them for taking out their time for interacting with us. Single Rooms : Yes, I covered this in positives as well, but I think I must point out the cons of this facility. Students, especially in the first year, might feel lonely and find it hard to interact with others. A shared room provides you with one or more readily accessible friends whose privacy you can breach without asking, from day one. Mess : However the Mess System is undergoing a lot of changes, this is one aspect that has a lot of scope for improvement.

There are two methods of admission in b.tech. First is Direct admission in this type of admission you can directly visit the college and take admission.
