Eligibility is a minimum of 60% in the 12th class. You can find the application details at www.veltech.edu.in . The application fee would be around 1000 rupees. There will be a mahatma Gandhi scholarship which can be availed during the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

This college has a credit-based system which helps the students which subject to study and when according to their convenience. Each semester has two unit tests and two mid-term tests for providing internals.

This university has good placement offers. They provide placements from the 6th semester itself. Students become eligible for placement as soon as they complete the credits required to attend placement. Cognizant, Capgemini, Infosys, byjus are some of the big MNC's which offer placements for this university. Around 75%-80% of students get placements every year.

Hostel rooms are very good. It has 3 hostels for boys, namely B3, prince, and legends. B3 hostel is for first-year students and it has a canteen also. Food quality is very good. Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

VEL TECH - A rollercoaster of emotions and feelings

Firstly I haven't got good marks in my APEAMCET exam and next thing is I came to know that my relatives sons have also graduated from the Vel tech University.
