IIT BHU Review

I wanted to opt for IIT Bombay but I was not able to meet the cutoff criteria of the college. IIT BHU was a very good option for me as the colleges ranked among the top 15 engineering colleges of India and I was able to meet the eligibility criteria for B.Tech CSE program in which I was interested. I was allotted the seat in my JOSAA counseling and I immediately moved forward with the admission process. The admission process was smooth and the staff was very cooperative and helpful.

The curriculum helps us to understand the basics and fundamentals of computer programming and software. The curriculum is not only as per the industrial norms but is flexible and properly synced with real-world scenarios. The curriculum uses case studies and simulative activity methods to hook up in the class and to clear the concepts and fundamentals.

The internship program helps us to attain professional experience and we are eligible for an internship in the 4th-year of our program. The college placement committee helps us to identify the companies for internships and the average internship stipend is around 55K. If any of us is involved in any kind of research activity can skip the internship by providing relevant documents to the placement committee.

The college has a good placement record and the college also provides good placement for B.Tech. the college has a 100% placement record. The placement committee of the college is very dedicated and hardworking. We have to register our names for taking part in the placement process of the college to the placement committee and the placement committee makes sure that every one of us is placed as per our interest. The highest package was around 55 LPA and the average package was around 18 LPA.

The scholarship is available on a merit basis and scholarship for SC/ST/PWD is available and fellowship is also available for M.Phil and P.hD. Education loan facility is also available if anyone wants to avail education loan the admission department fully cooperate with the person. The campus life of the college is very good. Technex is the technical fest of the college which helps us to show our innovative skills. The college infrastructure is well maintained. The classrooms are big and spacious equipped with a projector screen, computer and recording instrument to record the lecture. The library is available with lots of books and many international authors books are also available. The college labs are equipped with all kinds of modern facilities. All in all the campus experience of the college is good.

The hostel facility of IIT BHU is good. IIT BHU hostel residential area is the largest in Asia. At the price of Rs. 7500 the facilities are worth it. The rooms of the hostel are very well maintained. The rooms and bathrooms are regularly cleaned. The discipline and the decorum of the hostel are very well-maintained by the wardens and the hostel staff. The mess food quality is good and the food is cooked in a hygenic space. The hostel provides us with 24 hours of power and water supply.

The faculty of the college is highly skilled and experienced. The faculty is of PhD level and their efforts to teach and guide us is really commendable. The faculty plays a very important role in college to shape our career they fully help us during the college placement drive and in technical fest to present our ideas in full swing.
