Entrance Preview

I choose MIDET because there is no entrance examination needed to join this course most engineering courses need entrance exam. No such admission procedures mark on plus two level is important for fees deductions that's only.

Internships Opportunities

No internship training provided by the management but we can assist some private parties for internship training the stipend is according to their performance.

Placement Experience

No placement providing but now they changed I think that time, some campus interviews only for some students but the companies are not so famous now I don't know that details.

College Events

No such events in my memories. But we have celebrated our Kerala's biggest festival Onam. The management and students organised the event very successfully we enjoyed a lot.

No such loans. Scholarship is for top students who get more marks in exam. The scholarship may be deduction or free study.

This college is in village so all programmes are limited to the standard of the village but all extracurricular are happening with less volume. Here boys and girls are in mixed but there is some restrictions because some reasons with our tradition.

Hostel Facilities

College is situated in a village called Meppayil. So there is pollution the hostel facilities are good but now students are became larger need improvement. College hostel fee is with in main fees. We can stay in near residents.

My experience with seniors is not so good because of ragging. I have experience when I was fresh student they ragged me I reported and the mgt took action against them.

Exam Structure

The exam is conducted by AMIE. The exams are very good timing no such continues exams. Exams are conduct according to the strict instructions by the supream authority.

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.
