IET Davv college review

The selection process is based on the jee main score . About 90% seats are for Madhya Pradesh students. I opted for Information Technology engineering and got into it after atempting the MP DTE counseling . My rank was 1,72000 and I got admission from sc quota . There are 140 total students in my branch and 70 students in each section.The eligibility criteria for getting into my college is first you must have 75% in your 12 , 60% for SC students and then it all depends upon the jee marks. Everything related to admission happens on the mponline DTE portal and this is the only way of getting into the institute 250? is the application charge and it all happens in July.

I always wanted to pursue my Btech in information technology and IET DAVV was one of the best institutes in madhya Pradesh to do so. I was into this stream from class 11 and thus made my mind in pursuing the same. The faculties are pretty nice and are suitably qualified into there respected streams the college have plenty of faculties for each subject and there is no overall shortage especially for Computer science and information technology branches. The Civil engineering branch sometimes lack necessary faculties and compensate this with faculties affiliated to DAVV. Some teachers are boring and some are quite interesting and are well liked by students. The exams are not very difficult and they will only ask you what they taught you.

Fees for every stream is same and is 84,000?. It may differ for each year and gender of student. The MP govt provides scholarship to SC, ST OBC students. Some students also get benefitted from mmvy which is provided to many students of our college under MMVY scheme of MP government. Many Students also get financial assistance from banks in form of Student loans which they can repay after getting placed. The college placements are too good not only Top branches such as CS/IT , students of other branches are also getting placed in good organizations in college oncampus placements. The overal placements stats are too good and Around 70-80 % CS/IT students grabs remarkable packages from prestigous organizations. Many other students opt for other examination such as CAT, GATE and GRE along with govt exams such as UPSC. Core companies for other branches such as ETC MECH also visit the institute. The average package is around 6-7 lpa.

IET'S annual fest is Aakshank and is said to be central India's largest fest. I comes in March and holds many activities. The institute is also preparing a Library which is about to be inaugurated and is one of largest libraries of central india. The old library is also good but is small and doesn't hold the adequate capacity of books but the new Library is going to be awesome. The institute has many clubs in which students can engage a lot in some of these are ECELL which is for entrepreneur development, NSS for social activities.ISC as its sports club which conducts many sports under DAVV University. And is also good. The college website is ietdavv.edu.in that is run by students.

There are two bed rooms in hostel and there are 4 hostels total currently the fourth is new and is about to be allocated to new students in year. There are two mess inside the Hostel areas. The food quality is not too good but what else can we expect in hostel messes and that too in 2000? / month. First year students can register for hostel and the registration fee and caution money is 2000? each sem hostel fee is 10250?. The rooms are affordable and are pretty nice they have tables, chair, almirah, Fast internet through broadband. The hostel Life is awesome as well and is the thing that is mostly missed by every hostel student.
