Bits Goa- The college of dreams

1)- Student has to clear BITSAT Exam and should has minimum of 80% in Class 12th ( PCM and English). 2)- Application form is available on Bits Pilani website , application fees is nearly Rs 3200 and application starts in March. 3)- Bits doesn't has any kind of reservation. It treats everyone as equal. 4)- The fees of the admission form should be made less around Rs 1000.

1)- My course is Computer Science. I choose this course beacuse I am very interested in this field and I wanted to grab opportunities in this field. 2)- The faculty of CS in this college is very good. The faculty : student ratio is about 1:50. 3)- Most of the faculty members are IIT professors and passout and many have done their masters from top foreign universities. The teaching method is very good and is of high quality. 4)- The term exams are held as Midsem which occurs at 2 months after beginning of the sem and Comprehensive Exams are held at the end of the sem. Between this many quizes and assignments are also held. These exams are difficult and if a student does not study for these exams, he/she would not be able to score well.

1)- Many companies like Uber, Microsoft, Google, Accenture, Oracle and others come for interships and provude PPOs. The stipend varies from Rs 50,000 to Rs 2,00,000 depending on the compamy and the student. 2)- The projects depend on company to company. Many companies give projects related to AI, ML, Coding, Web Dev etc.

1)- Companies come for placemnets in the 4th year. Students have the choice to sit for placements either in 7th or 8th semister. 2)- Many companies like Apple, Oracle , Microsoft , Samsung , Adobe , Accenture , Google, Uber , Flipkart , amazon , Texas Instruments etc come for placements and take around most of the students enrolled in the course. 3)- Highest package is above 1 crore (international package) as software developer by Google and Uber . The average package is around Rs 20 Lakhs per annum. 4)- Around 90% of the students in the college get palced in different companies by the end of their college. 5)- Many students go for jobs, many go for masters and UPES.

1)- The fees for 1 year is around RS 5,00,000 with a 20%hike every year on the tution fees. 2)- The college gives various types of scholarships like:- a)- Merit Scholarship:- for students who are exceptionally good in the studies. Only 1% students get this scholarship. b)- Merit Cum Need Scholarship :- for students who have financial problems and whose parents income is less than Rs 11,00,000 per year. Many Students get this scholarship and the cut - off for this scholarship is around 6 CGPA. Also, college provides many internship opportunities from which students can earn money.

1)- The annual fests are one of the best in the country. The fests are :- Waves (November) , Quarks(February) and Spree( March). 2)- The library of the college has tons of books on every subject and topic. People can access the books very easily from library and the books are available very easily. 3)- Classrooms are very well equipped with Air Conditioned facilities. Good quality desks and chairs are made available in every classroom. 4)- The college has every kind of sports like 4 basketball courts , 2 Lawn Tennis Courts , 4 Wooden Badminton Courts, 8 Table Tennis Tables , rooms for carrom Board, pool tables, BCCI approved Cricket Ground , football field, a well maintained and fully equipped gymnasium and many more. 5)- There are a lot of clubs which are maintained by students. Clubs and societies like:- Entrepreneurship club, TED-X community, Music Society , Fest committies, Coding and Hacking clubs , Fun clubs and many more.

1)- Desk, chair, almirah, white-board, hanging clips, power sockets, bed etc are provided in the room. 2)- Menu is diverse with new things on each day. The quality of the food is also very good and manageble. 3)- Hostel is not that much costly . The total amount of hostel and mess is around RS 42,000 for 6 months( 1 sem). 4)- The campus is fully residential. Students have to say inside hostel only. No provosion of PG and Rented rooms.
