To get into this college we can appear form both EMACET And ECET entrance exam. Yes their is reservation according to the caste BC(A/B/D/E)and SC and ST, No reservation for general category. Managment seats are also available if seats are left out.

I choose this course I was interested in robotics and automation which is available in this college only in Telegana. Coming to the faculty maximum faculty is of P.hd and 10+ years experience in this college.

Internships Opportunities

There are pretty good companies coming namely TCS, Congnizent, IBM which offer good internship with reasonable stipend. The project are mainly based on pythone and robotics which include tree climbing robot and industrial robot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I felt that entire curriculum needs to be changed, since there are many useless subjects that are irrevalant to software engineering in CSE. I also felt subjects like c,c++, java needs to be replaced with python and web development subject should be replaced with something like nextjs. Initially I thought the syllabus and curriculum was good untill 3rd year of my Btech degree. The curriculum of jntuh is outdated in terms of real world. Teaching methods are ok though it needs minor improvements in some areas. The frequency of exams is same, you get semester exams and supply exams , you will have more chances to clear you backlogs, my advice is to clear backlogs in same year or try not getting any backlogs in engineering. timing of exams is usually after every 6 months out of which we usually have 180 or more working classes days. And in between we get sundays, holidays,events and other things. Semester exams are difficult especially subjects like mathematics or electronic subjects like ADE, which is irrelavant to CS.

Right Iam in 7 th semester ending,no company came to our college to recruit us.May be in 8 th sem companies will come.My seniors got in some companies like TCS, Infosys,Capgemini etc..with an average of 3.6 lpa.And all students did not get placed just 10 students in each class got placement.We need more placements to satisfy the students.

Unveiling Excellence- My Experience at IIT Hyderabad

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements Various companies like Google, Microsoft, Amaazon, Facebook, Uber, Ola, visisted and made around 300 offers in total, The highest package offered was 90LPA to a student from CSE and the avg Package was around 20 LPA Around 50% of the students got the placement this year. My plans after getting this degree would be moving abraod for a Masters Degree.

i did applied for various colleges like chaitanya bharathi intistute of technolgy,vasavi ,vjr college etc and this college i got admissions in vasavi college and mgit but in vasavi college i got civil branch in which i don't have intrest and got IT department in mgit so i choose mgit over vasavi college and i got rejected by cbit, cvr college because i got eamcet rank which are not enough to get admissions in those colleges .In MGIT ,the minimum rank for the cse is 6000 and for ece and ET's the rank is 11000 for general category and we also have B category in which the students can get admissions through there jee mains percentile...Read More
