Eligibility for admission to Galgotias University is as per the course you want to take admission in. There's no entrance exam for admission to this university. You can get the admission form in the B block admission cell. Due to heavy crown the admission process may be slow but not so much.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose BCA as I am interested in Computer Science and want to develop a career in the IT sector. The ratio of faculty/ Students is near 1:15 according to 2021. The faculty is good. Exams patterns are the best I have ever seen. There are three 4 IA, 3 CAT, and 1 ETE exam in a semester.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 84000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Students can get better internships in GU as his/her eligibility and wisdom. GU provides good opportunities for internships. Many companies arrived on campus for recruiting interns for their organization.

Placement Experience

The last year is the time for placements in every college and here is the same. The highest package here is 20-25 lakhs and the average is 2-3 lakhs. Big companies like Amazon, Infosys, IBM, Flipkart gives the job to students of GU.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are not high like many other universities. You can get the scholarship from the government but there is no facility for campus scholarships. But you don't need to pay your fees in advance while you can pay in many installments as you want but you have to pay fees of the semester before the end of the semester.

Campus Life

The library is good but can be better. You can get many books in galgotias library. There are two libraries present on the GU campus. You can avail yourself of 4 books at the same time from the library. Classrooms are well, clean and digitally well, and projector-based education.

Hostel Facilities

The facility of electricity us a bed is here but a bed, table, chair, and almirah are available in rooms after many requests to the warden, dean, and vc of college and many emails. Not tasty, no healthy, food here and the mess is so far from the hostel. Registration is easy but hostel fees are so high.

Hostel Fee: INR 132000 per year

My BCA Experience at Galgotias University

Placement Experience:

Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and TechMahindra have visited the Campus. Some product-based startups and mid-size companies like cheggIndia, Josh Tecnology have also hired BCA graduates for roles like Junior developers QA testers and support engineers The average package for BCA students range from 2.5 lakhs to 3.5 LPA, and the highest package in recent years has gone up to 5 LPA. around 60-70% of eligible and interested students manage to secure placements, while others go for higher studies or prepare for govt exams. My personla plan after completing course is to pursue a full time role in a tech company in the AIML or DS domain or to go to master's dehress, depending on the opportunities and scholarship availability at that time

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Circulim was very good as compared to the other colleges. In Lab there is need of some improvement and in lab it is more like theory class there should be focus on the more on the practical thing.

I choose Galgotias because of its growing reputation, more affordable fee structure , and active lead intiative like students body club's and ecell which really appealed to me . The admission process was smooth and Fully online and for BBA FIA you just need to have 50% or above in 12th with any stream. I applied to a few private universities like Sharda University, Amity University, GL Bajaj, and Galgotias University. I received admission offers from the three but I choose Galgotias University f I also conidered the infrastructure, location, placement records, Program Fees, galgotias has a tech-driven environment, moder labs and a good reputation for CSE related courses.compared to Amity, the overall course fee more affordable here and the academic pressure seemed better balanced.
