My Kanpur University review

For the Btech course in CSJM university kanpur you should have more than 80 percentile in jee mains for general category and if you belongs to ews category then still you should have atleast 80 percentile. Now if we talk about infrastructure then it is awesome and placement is also nice on off campus and average in on campus but now its placement scenario is improving year by year so if you are not getting IET lucknow in upcet counselling then opt for this because its location is very good and it is 1.8km from IIT Kanpur and have a metro station on its name. The average package is 4.8 lakh and highest is 10 to 12 lakh and off campus depends on you. One thing I want to make you sure that you will get degree of CSJMU not of AKTU which is not any bad thing. So overall university is more than average it have also clubs in all fields and have a big stadium, it is in 254 acre and it has a very nice Auditorium.

If we talk about course in btech then it don't have electrical branch and I choose Computer science and engineering branch because I have deep interest in it. Facultys are good and students ratio is quite good. Max of the facultys have degree of PHD and their teaching method is well. It is an autonomous institute and its semester exam are not so tough. They also take quizzes of 15 Mark's and add in semester.

From 6 or 7 semester students are eligible for campus placement and the on campus placement scenario is improving year by year and at this time the average package offered by companies is 4.8 lakh and highest is 10 to 12 lakh and off campus placement depends on you.

If you want to study in btech course with CSE branch then your fees will be 89200. Scholarship process is easy every students get their scholarship if they fulfill eligibility criteria, the scholarship you will get up to 56000

The annual fest is conducted every year and other than annual fest several programs are happening regularly in Auditorium which is very enjoyable. The library is quiet big and have enough books and more than enough books for programming. There are several clubs on coding, sports and other in which your seniors will head and other member. There is a website uiet docs which is run by our seniors which provides you every year notes, syllabus and previous year paper.

I have taken hostels in which you will have your one roommate and you both have separate table, chair, bed and almirah. The meal you will get in mess is more than average and you will get four time meal in a day Breakfast Lunch Snacks and Dinner. The menu is quiet good you will not get repeated meal.
