Entrance exam EAMCET i came to know about this college & chose this as my sister was also a student in this.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is good and helpful in your career if you pursue your career in the same stream / technology. All subjects are good though few seems irrelevant for your branch and line of career. Choosing electives comes in final year. There are 2 ways. 1) Ideally you can choose your own elective and pursue that as per your interest. But practically, sometimes you don't have choice but the whole class is asked to choose same elective ( majority wins ), OR only 1 subject of elective is taught as per the professor availability. If you are very particular about any subject in elective as per your market analysis OR career planning then you have to convince your HOD and be a special & one man army.

Internships Opportunities

For us there was nothing like internship or stipend. We had to do a project as part of our curriculum. We ( my team ) did it outside the college in a firm. About the project experience, it was really good, learning. Generally the we get to see 2 categories of students, who do their project work genuinely. leverage their potential and learned knowledge in all 3.5 years. If there have not learnt with much concentration, they cope by the virtue of project work. This actually helps them in down their line in career ( not the project work [sometimes yes], but the attitude and approach, planning, hard work ). If there is a team, then good team coordination and management also plays a role, category # 2, where students buy their project and somehow throw it on the college's face and complete their project part. ( I am not sure if such thing is still prevailing ).

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements cell is awesome you make yourself eligible for placements as per the market criteria with decent knowledge and good attitude, probability of getting placement in high.

College Events

5

Technical symposiums, national level conferences, like Convergence, vector. These were organized by students of IEEE and other chapter i am unable to recollect the name sports and university representations is also active. Youth festivals like Sintillationz i don't remember the spelling, but its similar to this. These were very well organized by students themselves who are guided by college staff.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was feasible for me till my batch. I had a free seat i.e. 8K per year from later years I felt its little expensive it was feasible for me till my batch. I had a free seat i.e. 8K per year from later years I felt its little expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not avail any there was one going on during my time economically backward class used to get 6-8 books from library others get only 2. You just have to provide certificate.

Campus Life

5

There are soo many extra-curricular activities going on you should really balance your schedule for academics and extra-curricular activities you get to know many things and different exposure when you come from 10+2 level to graduation level and you have go through all these before your leave your college degree and subject knowledge is very well required, no comments on that others are equally important too for other shades of learning and exposure that actually makes a difference in your life after college days.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Centeen food was good we did not have hostel facilities I am not sure about current scenario. I heard sometime back that there was some such arrangement started but really not sure.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, there is an alumini network of this college who meet once in a year to share their experiences with students and guiding and motivating them we have lectures and knowledge sharing my eminent speakers from industry who have gained life and professional experiences.

Exam Structure

Labs were strict we are made to do the labs. we get to learn practically in labs. no skipping and missing out you do you get good marks. you don't do you fail simple funda exams structure and pattern, I am not sure how is it now but in our time, we have our college as center nothing special to comment on exams.

Faculty

4.5

Very good, highly knowledgeable most of the faculty members are either post-graduates and Phd holders all of them have very good knowledge some are very good at expressing their subject and teaching skills in class and some lack the concept & subject presentation in the class but are highly knowledgeable. In case # 2, their knowledge has to be grasped by asking doubts either in class or outside.

The best part of the college is its placement of the college. Almost all companies visit the campus, including Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and almost all. The average percentage of the college is around 85 percent. In Chemical engineering, the placement is a little bit, it's around 90 percent. I'm planning for placements on the Software side.
