Remarks

I opt MA Economics the eligibility was BA with Economics as one subject and to qualify the cucet. All dates regarding entrance, admission were easily available on university website but There should be all admission process in online mode including counseling and there should not be need of submission of hard copy.

Course Curriculum Overview

The term exams were held after every 6 months which includes CIA (internal examination, Power point presentation, viva voice and 60 marks end semester examination). The papers was difficult to pass but our faculty staff teached us very well so we can do it easily.

Class Size: 28Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no kind of scholarship available at University some students got scholarship via NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PORTAL, financial Assistance like relaxation in fees were given to some weaker section students during covid 19.

Campus Life

There were no social groups, clubs for students all students were treated equally. There were No discrimination on the basis of caste, religion, class, colour, race in our University. All are very friendly.

Placement Experience:

Placements are offered but not upto that level but yeah for toppers there are placements in the campus but for rest of students many companies visit for the purpose but the least number of students get hired. My plan was to prepare for the upsc exams

A Review on University of Kashmir

Fees and Financial Aid:

I paid 9279 for 1st and 2nd Semester in 2021 pursuing Masters Degree in Sociology. It included library fees, IT fees, NSS fee and other charges as well. There was no such departmental scholarship for students enrolled there.

Education is the best gift you can receive from your college

First 2 semesters were taken after a year but the rest of the 4 semesters were taken on time. Exams were held in a very peaceful manner and in a very tight schedule. There was no provision for cheating in exams

The University admits students on the cuet merit basis . Most students prefer this university because they want to explore Kashmir. Overall my experience was good although i quit after bsc.

I choose Cuk because of dicipline there.. In short after 12th you have alot options but there are collages where no matter you attend classes or not you will study a night and get 80-90%.
