Remarks

If you want to pursue a good career in engineering specially in civil engineering and mechanical engineering go to this college. The eligibility for this college must be a minimum of 50% in HSC or a Positive score in JEE Advanced. You Can get an application form from the college or else on the college website. The fees, process everything is given on their website. You Can also take benefits from reserved categories. You only need your income certificate, caste certificate that's it.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose civil engineering. Because it's the oldest civil engineering college in the city also the professors are here well qualified. The student ratio is here of 60 to a total of 120 students are there from both sections. The Qualifications of the faculty is postgraduate some may be doctorate. The term exams are also well procedures that one can easily pass exams.

Internships Opportunities

You also get internship opportunities with byjus company. Where you will get 14000 as a stipend. You have to get tasks from the company and get them done in a timely. Once your graduation is complete you will get a fixed position in the company.

Campus recruitment is also happening in college. Every year many companies come here to recruit students on their performance basis. HCL, TCS, Infosys etc companies came here to recruit. The highest package is 14 lakhs till now.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fee hike every year. You Can get a scholarship if your income is under 2 lakhs or a freeship if you come under the reserved category. You Can also get admission through the open category. You have to pay full fees.

There is a lot of tech fest is conducted in colleges. Spark, Navonmesh etc. Students can participate in every contest held there. Special attention also comes there. The amenities in the classroom are a projector, fan, bench etc.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules.
