Remarks

Anyone who got above 70% marks in 12th is eligible for direct admission through chancellor portal or offline visit to office. Application form notice is generally out on chancellor portal or college website or college social media engagement sites. Admission fee depends on the courses u apply for, in my case i choose BSC HONOUR'S IN ZOOLOGY and it cost me around 40 Thousands for 3-year course program. Coming to reservation criteria it's applicable to Sc/st candidates, they get the cut off generally 60% in intermediate. Make the whole thing online, like to deposit cash we have to rush to the college, that sick, make it 100% online, this would be a great help.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose zoology, because im good at bio, i completed my intermediate school with pcb course, i was the school topper also( school Shiksha niketan Telco). There is 3 to 4 teachers for 100 students, two of them is Ph.D. holder and one has a master's degree . Teaching skills are good and upto a point. Considering the covid scenario, we weren't able to get the sem 5 exams we got internally promoted in a basis of previous years' marks, in general exams and semesters aren't that hard, if you pay attention in class and consider u'r teacher point.

Class Size: 107Course Fees: INR 8095 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is economically well for everyone, there's no hike till now. There's a scholarship program like E-Kalyan from the government of Jharkhand for the weaker section of students. Also, teachers and staff are kind, placement ratio is good, this year only a few got placed in byjus as the marketing department.

Campus Life

They conduct a lot of cultural fests like Shayar-e-aam, kalamsala, eco drives, freshers party and many more. College library is well equipped with all the books you need to climb the ladder of success, have everything like i say no need to buy a single book from shop, u got everything there, teacher are kind, they help too. SPARC is the cultural organization of my college you can get it on instagram or website, on Sunday's and Saturdays there is a music club and art club to promote cultural zest.

Like everyone knows in which carriculum they are interested ,similarly i know i have a keen interest in my subject i.e. physics . We can't see physics as a theoretical and mathematical aspect but in our daily Life we use to experienc it . Like if something is fell down there is a reason behind that is gravity .we use to experience physics in our daily life . Some teacher use to make us feel for that subject but someone make us bore sometime. It happens rarely but sometime it happens. So i suggest them to change some activity Like teach with more energyso tha we can't get bored. Sometime we get very lengthy paper in the exams so everyone have to prepare before the examination with high speed.

A Transformative Journey : My College Experience

Placement Experience:

The campus placement in our college is held after the completion of all 6 semesters and there is very limited number of companies that come over to offer placement but off campus placements starts from 6 semester onwards. The companies visited were Vedanta for graduate trainee offering 1.40 - 4.65 LPA Tata Power for graduate trainee offering 1.90 - 3.69 LPA Only 40% students got placements. Many students didn't take part as the packages very low & even the perks were not so good. I planned to do higher studies in M.Sc. As the subject was very intriguing I preferred pursuing more knowledge.

Life at karim city college jamshedpur

Actually I applied only for this college because it is nearer from my home and actually this college is quite famous in my hometown and i didn't apply in another college because this is kolhan university and the education is good in this college. Karim City College. An Affordable Option for Mass Comm Aspirants

The most important factor was the affordability compared to other colleges including within-state colleges as well as Inter-State colleges. Also, the Faculty was very inclusive as I took last-minute admissions and they were happy to take me in. The admission process was fairly easy they took the mandatory marksheets of Std 10th and 12th also the Aadhar Card and Parental Details and the fees were paid in Cash. Later after the payments I was provided with the prospectus and Other Information.
