S.Nagaraj's Review On Dr. A.V. Baliga College Of Commerce, Kumta

Our college management is the best among all. Bad activities are never encouraged if anyone found to be indulged in the illegal activities then there will be a strict action taken on them in the management meeting. Good charactered and talented students are more encouraged by giving them award of Best Student on every annual day and the below average students are well supported to overcome there difficulties and score well.

As it comes under commerce section there was no entrance examination i came from Mangalore district to the Uttar kannada.

Compared with most of the colleges which comes under our kud university my college stands in good position. There are all the various course of commerce available in my college except the B.Com under company secretary.

Infosys had come in the previous year as they always come to our college. 10 student were selected. The package was of 2.5lkh to 2.8lkh p.a in the starting. Wipro had also come they selected around 15 members package was around 2.2lkh to 2.4lkh pa.

Our college gives equal importance for all studies as well as co-caricular activities. Every month the training programs by experts from outside are conducted. Cultural programs are very well conducted. Our college students are encouraged to participate in all the management programs held in various stages. Overall my college help well in personality developments and various other important skills.

Compared to other developed cities our college fees are very low they give good education by taking less fees it comes around just 7k to 8k per sem.

If the students are very poor and intelligent they cant afford to pay the fees those are taken care by our college management committee. Even the merit students get scholarship by college which helps in there future education.

Gender ratios are equal here in my college. Hostels are well maintained and cared after. Workshops will be conducted in every month for the student welfare. As KUMTA is a very good town there are no intolerance regarding cast, sex, race, color, politics or economy. All are treated as the same. All the facilities provided and even well maintained. There are various other non-teaching staffs for these maintainances.

Hostels are very near by which is an walkable distance to our college mess food is well rated by the food inspectors. Hostel rooms are also good for study it comes in a decent and silent place where we get fresh mind to study.

When i was a fresher my seniors helped me a lot in my studies they guided me about the subjects to be chosen and all other stuffs. There is no ragging or distreatment for the juniors all are well respected.

Exams are well conducted that students will not get any stress with it. Internals will be there and before sem exams we will be given study holidays lab exams will also be there.

Faculty is very good all the staff are well experienced the give importance to each and every students learning. They are always ready to respond for students doubts. Moreover our new principal Mr.V.M.Pai has added some more strength to our college.
