Remarks
The admission process is through SNAP, you need to score around 98-99 percentile to get into SIBM Pune. The process was followed by a group discussion and a personal interview round. SNAP's test is fairly easy.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum includes all the basics of management like marketing, finance, sales, HR, operations. You will get a lot of theory and case studies. The faculty at SIBM is decent with people from the industry.
Internships Opportunities
The internships are a mandatory part of the curriculum, Some companies like Deloitte, Asian paints, Mahindra, HCL visit for the summers. They offer as high as 1 lakh for a stipend. Internships are crucial for industry exposure.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario is good. One gets placed at companies like Deloitte, Cisco, Mahindra, Abbott with an average package of around 18-19 lakh. The highest package goes up to 24-25 lakhs. Campus Placements occur at the end of the 4th semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are a lot of scholarships available on the website, one can check including foreign student, merit-based, sports scholarships, up to 50% fees can be revoked. The college fees are 10 lakh per year in Pune.
Campus Life
Life at SIBM is really fun, you have so many extracurricular activities to be a part of, there are always seminars, group activities, sports, events going on in the college. Life in Pune is also a good social life.
Interview Experience
There is always a group discussion and Personal interview round after the SNAP test, both the rounds are fairly easy to crack if you are aware of the current affairs and have good communication skills and confidence.
