Remarks

EAMCET and intermediate should be qualified. All the details regarding the application form, application fees, and application dates are available on the internet. SC and St are benefited in the reservation. The agricultural and non-agricultural category also considered during admission. Non - border category should be removed. Intermediate marks should not be considered as much priority. Online counseling is better rather than direct contact.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

This course has many job opportunities. Human is always dependent on food. As our country Cannot afford much food, we are importing food like oilseeds, pulses, etc from other countries. By this, we can conclude that there is much need for agriculture. As of now, It is noncompetitive. There is a huge number of faculty. 1:15 may be the faculty-student ratio. There is a huge number of subjects, hence faculty also very large. Faculty are well expertise. The practical mode of teaching is excellent. Field visits, machinery visits, presentations, quizzes, kvk visits, etc are many activities by faculty. Every year, we have two semesters. The duration of one semester is six months appropriately. The total duration of the course is 4 years. The exams were not much tough. But it's lengthy. Nearly 10 subjects will be there for each semester. So, it's hard somewhat to pass. As practical exams are also there, we have to study hard for better results.

Internships Opportunities

0.5

As I am a second-year student, I didn't know much about internship opportunities. But my seniors are well satisfied with their internship opportunities as they said. There is a lot of scope in this activity in our college.

Placement Experience

4

From the seventh semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like gromor etc Visited campus. Offers are comparatively more. The highest package may be 5,00,000 or above at the initial stage, Later it may increase rapidly. The average package may be 5,00,000. Nearly 50 percent of students get placements. Moreover, government jobs are preferable in this agricultural sector. The salaries are very high In the government sector. Like Agricultural extension officer(AEO), Agriculture officer(AO), etc. After my degree, I want to do MSc and Ph.D. My goal is to become a professor in plant breeding.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the government category, not much fee is required. It is nearly 50,000 per year. For Non- governmental category, 14 lakhs should be paid. Ts merit scholarship will be accompanied. The scholarship may be 60 to 70 percent of the fee we paid. The salaried job got on campus may be more than 20000 rupees.

Campus Life

3.5

They conduct all the fests like freshers, farewell, etc. Freshers will be at beginning of the semester. Farewell will be at end of the semester. They also conduct exhibitions for school students, Kisan Mela for farmers, science fare, essay and drawing competitions, elocution, etc. There is a huge number of books available in the library. Classrooms were well designed. Digital classrooms are available. Sports are of more significance. There is a separate time for sports. Sports are taken into consideration in MSc admission. There are many channels on Youtube under PJTSAU.

Generally, the campus placements here are good when compared to the other agricultural universities. The highest was around 1000000 and the average was around 400000. Generally, the students are eligible for campus placements from the end of the 6th semester onwards. like one of the companies like Anmol media, cpshpl, naandis association of urban farmers, etc. Most of the students were placed in my senior batch. They made around 30 offers. The percentage was around 91 in getting placements. After completing my course I will get a BSc in agriculture degree to my name.
