MBA HR at SBM NMIMS

To enroll into SBM NMIMS you have to register at GMAC for the NMAT exam where you can choose any date as per your convenience between the months of october and january. You can appear for mock tests available at the GMAC portal and can reschedule your exam at a fee of Rs.2500

I chose MBA HR at NMIMS because of the various career oppertunities available and the excellent placement record in the last 10 years alongwith a great alumini network. there are 120 students in MBA HR with around 20 professors with a great expertise and a corporate experience as well which is refelcted in their teaching style as well.

Unacademy, Reliance, Tata, sun pharma, EY GDS, etc come to campus for offering internship oppertunities to students with stipend being 15000-125000. The job roles offered are competency mapping, recruitment and selection, performance appraisal, etc.

the students become eligible for placements by the end of fourth trimester when companies start coming to campus to offer jobs to the students. companies such as tata, aditya birla, goldman sachs, reliance, unacademy, etc come on campus with average CTC being 13LPA and highest packages approximately being 26LPA. The college offers 100% placements records for its students.

The fees for MBA HR is 1095000 per year which increases every year by 100000. The cost to study also includes hostel charges which are around 250000-300000 per year which is optional. The college offers job oppertunities to its students as well with loads of companies coming to campus to offer placements such as reliance, tata, etc.

The campus life is amazing at NMIMS with alot of amenities available on campus and various cultural and informative fests taking place throughout the year such as eco-week, rubaroo, euphoria, etc. There are various committees and clubs such as placement committee, student council, nepathya, verve, zephyr, etc.

The admission process consisted of a WAT round which is an essay writing round followed by a personal interview which basically comprises of the hygiene questions like introduction and why you chose the specific course. I prepared for these round by watching youtube videos regularly and practicing in front of the mirror.
