Remarks

The cut-off for NMIMS, Mumbai was 235 marks in the entrance exam (2020). After clearing the cut-off, we had WAT (Written Analytical Test) followed by Personal Interview (PI). Weightage for final selection: Entrance Exam (50%), WAT (20%), and Personal Interview (PI) (30%)

Course Curriculum Overview

I've chosen this course as I was fascinated by Financial Markets and wanted to get into Finance roles. Faculty-student ratio: 1:12. Faculty are highly qualified and almost all of them have their PhDs. Term exams were conducted in a smooth manner.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 1095000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Lots of companies come in for hiring interns from NMIMS, Mumbai. A plethora of opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds, be it Finance, Marketing, Operations and Science, General Management, and HR

Placement Experience

The placement process at NMIMS, Mumbai is pretty smooth. First-year students have their summer placement processes in between September and January whereas second-year students have their final placement processes from November till January

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee is a bit higher at NMIMS, Mumbai as it is their flagship program. Having said that, no scholarships as such were offered to anyone who got selected as NM being a private university. Placements are also pretty decent.

Campus Life

There are a plethora of physical books that are available in our library along with a million e-books available on our online portal. Infrastructure at NMIMS, Mumbai is mind-boggling. Moreover, we have lots of student clubs and committees.

Interview Experience

Initially, we had to submit an SOP, followed by WAT (Written Analytical Test) and then finally followed by Personal Interview (PI). In WAT, we had a generalized topic that was related to current affairs, and PI was based on our past work experience.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

Good post graduate program with strong cirriculum

Remarks:

Overall, I would say that I think this is a very unique course being offered by SP Jain and they are very strict with the submission timelines and quality of work. This is definitely is not a run off the mill part time MBA. The institute makes sure you sweat to earn your degree, respectfully!

MBA at SBM NMIMS Mumbai

To apply for MBA in NMIMS you have to register for NMAT exam via NMAT by GMAC website after which you get 3 attempts and the best score is taken into consideration. Then the shortlist is given and selected students are called for the WAT/ PI round in mid-February. The final list is out by first week in march of the selected students....Read More

SBM NMIMS Mumbai review by a current student

I have applied for 3 exams namely CAT, XAT and NMAT and the colleges that I had applied for were all of the IIMs, XLRI, and NMIMS Mumbai. I did not choose the second and third generations IIMs as they are relatively new institutions and are still developing. I was not selected for XLRI. There is no minimum age for the program, but there is a minimum requirement of having a bachelor's degree. The cut off for NMIMS, Mumbai in NMAT exam was 235 with a sectional cut off of 75.
