Remarks

MNNIT take admission through the JEE MAINS for B.Tech programs, and through GATE for M.Tech. & PhD. After the confirmation in JOSAA counselling, you have to go your college (or online submission process, if online) in dean academics. submit your documents and complete admission process. Along with it, they will provide you hostel as well and if want to be a day scholar, there's a particular process for it. Then if have a shortage of any document, just inform them, they will give you time for it. and after 'n' all, welcome to MNNIT. NOTE- Just check your all documents, twice or thrice. So that your admission did smoothly.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As it's an NIT and one of the top NITs in INDIA. All faculties are well educated and experienced. They help you in building concept, but somehow, MNNIT have a coding culture, so every faculty understand your hopes and time for the core subject if you are going with SOFTWARE. Exams happen at the end of per semester and classes are done along with the weekly quizzes. And moreover, seniors help us a lot in academics, they provide all things we want regarding academics and guide for it as well.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship started in the 6th and 7th semesters, but you can apply for an internship in any semester if you have skills (out the campus or on websites). If you got a Software related branch or have software skills ( instead of any software branch), the internship in it is at its peak. Some students get up to 1lac CTC in the internship. And many companies from Google to new and growing companies, all give the opportunity for internships.

Placement Experience

4

In the 6 or 7 semesters, students can apply for the internship (in campus internship), and in the 7th and 8th semesters, companies come for the placements. About the placements of college, it toped among all nits in 2021. But deep down, if you are not from a software background, you have to fight more than Software background guys. And not in this college only, this happened in approx all college. The percentage of placement is so good, and many students go for GATE &UPSC, and many of them succeed in it. And MNNIT's degree has it worth, so u can apply for off campus jobs if you are not satisfied with on campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is not so hard to take for a middle class family. They provide you compensation according to your family income. There's some procedure for it. And you have to complete it per semester. Whenever you have to submit fees. So it's a plus point if you are not known about it in previous sems, then you can apply for it in next sem. There's a bunch of scholarships, State Scholarship, NSP scholarship, ONGC scholarship and many more. just alert them. I Conclude that "thik hai Jhel loge".

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is Campus life, there are no words for it. We only go for 2 months in college and the rest is online, and those 2 months are speechless. There are fests, annual fests are CULRAV and SWAGAT for freshers (which we attend in online mode ;_; ), a tech event AVISHKAR, which is the most imp. event from an academics point of view. And as it's an NIT, so timely many personalities, alumni come in college. So it's not stress taking topic. There are Library and it's a big & good library, there's a multipurpose hall, playgrounds, tennis court, basketball court, volleyball, kabaddi court, and many things regarding sports or refreshment purpose. There's are many clubs from tech to academics, from dramatic to sports. so no worry about college life, just you to learn time management.

Hostel Facilities

3

For boys, there are approx 10 hostels (for all courses), for first year B.Tech. SVBH is reserved. then TAGORE, MALVIYA, TONDON and many more. Facilities like sanitation, bath and all are OK OK not so good, and not so bad also "kaam chalau". Mess food is Mess food. How can someone explain and compete it? The registration process for a hostel is done along with admission, and if you want to be a day scholar, there's a separate process for it. And if you are a pro level introvert or want a separate space for yourself., then for PG and ROOM, 2 colonies are just on the backside of college. And college is in a populated area, so you can easily find out the room or PG acc. to your requirement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
